Upon hearing this for the first time, I was immediately drawn into a mood of prayer and repentance. I was confronted face to face by the light of God and His goodness, and my soul was overwhelmed with the presence of the Holy Spirt. I immediately started just silently saying "sorry" to God for my sins, and His goodness just filled me.
I want to say thank to Tommee. It's 1 year and everything has changed a lot. At that moment, I lost my job, I lost my brothers due to the pandemic. Last Christmas was nothing but a nightmare to me. I cannot imagine how I can go through that tough time. However I saw you release this album. Your masterpieces really made me feel like God sent you to ease my pain. And after all, I got a new job and I even had a girlfriend. What I wanna say is, God always has a plan for us. And his plan for me is sending your songs to me, to inspire me once again. Thank you Tommee for such a great work.

My entire being was brought to a place of humility, of joy, of reverence, of appreciation, of tears seeing that transcendent moment. I feel like this arrangement showed a lot of restraint on Tommee's part. He could have easily gone overboard on this one but he just stops shy of that line of no return. It has these little darker turns that add newness and Tommee's signature sound but, then he's able to turn it back to this side of the sun just as quickly. The intentionality is so masterful.
The essence of Silent Night has been captured. Fleurie, you are beautifully gothic, hauntingly holy and wonderfully sweet. I can see it in your gestures and voice. Beautifully conceived video, light touch on the piano, total command of percussion, perfectly arranged, divinely edited and angelic in form -- this should be part of the Christmas canon on all Christmas lists.
