Hey man. You well? We chatted recently about the A7C ii and using wide aperture lenses like 1.4 and 1.8, regards to the 1/4000 and the cripple hammer shutter 😅 What are your genuine thoughts on using this camera with a 1.4 lens in daylight and sunny conditions? I was going to get some F2 lenses but, as I’d hoped, I’ve got some low key client work now and the 1.4 is a look I’d like to use sometimes. I’ve just been through my old A7iii and A7iv photos in Lightroom and most photos are below 1/1000 but on bright days ranged from 1/2500-1/4000 and in extremes, 1/5000. That was with 1.8-2.8 though. Could I simply use my ND filter? I’m seeing that the weird shutter in this can exhibit strange bokeh at 1/1000 and above? And once you see it, it can’t be unseen haha. So, be great to have thoughts from an owner like yourself that’s in Sunny California 😀 I love the form factor, the stabilisation, autofocus and the fact that I can just slap a pancake lens on and take it out with my family if needs be. But that, I can beef it up for high quality photo and video Promotion. Cheers!
Hey bro thanks for asking I’m doing great! I think 1.4 is totally possible. The key is a high quality ND filter. I ended up cheaping out and buying the K&F concept which gives a slight color cast and it is fixable but I find it just messes with my overall workflow in LR so I try to avoid it. I haven’t noticed the bokeh thing you’re talking about but i’ll try to pay attention to it next time. Hope that helps?
@@xhynetuseinovski hey man. Thanks for quick response! Yes, that does really help. Thank you. I feel ya, those K&F filters are just too damn hard to ignore at the price. 😅 The Nisi one is the best but even that is pretty extortionate for what it is. True colour VND. It’s great. Look forward to the next video!
Besides your photography, I really like you sometimes made yourself laugh with your own joke. Very positive life attitude.
Haha yeah i do that often. Thanks for the comment man i appreciate that a lot :)
Great shots and ideas
thanks brotha
Im loving this preset pack. Great for golden hour too!
Thanks bro. Did you try it out on your photos?
