This guys is awesome. He has inspired me to fish small and just enjoy whatever bites and fishing now is always fun. I love fishing small and lite and trying to catch the big ones when I can. And he’s just simple. Love to watch his vidoes
You released the best eats when you passed up on the redbreast. That was one fine sandwich just waiting for the pan. That was beautiful river float. Amazing what the good Lord provides if only we take the time to recognize it.
If you've never tried Stoneys you should get a BBQ sandwich with hot slaw. I used to fish that area before 2 rivers was there caught tones of everything at the mouth. Sauger to stripe, bass and bream my biggest hellbender came from right where the boat ramp is...
Your doing good bass eat everything from small fish to large snakes water depth & fishing equipment has nothing to do with it use what makes you comfortable usually you match the bait fish in your area I’ve used 12” swim baits myself but my most productive lure is 5” try a Bagley’s bang o lure black stripe in gold with 1 spinner in the rear popping or reeling it , it produces the most fish . I love fishing shallow water 1 to 3’ depth I’ve caught plenty of 8 pounders in knee deep water .
Dude the followers weren't on your videos they were chasing the hooked fish. Dang that was cool. River looked beautiful once you pushed out from the launch. Love seeing you kicking it on topwater. Keep casting brother man...
It's been years since I went down the Hiwassee River. I just remember the day we went with our church group it was a 101, and the water temp was around 55 I think. I was purple after about 5 miles in the water.
Throwing a treble hook bait you need a moderate action rod and the white rod looks like a fast action and you will lose more fish using a fast action rods with that type bait
I just want to say thanks for the content I moved up here like a year ago from Florida and I'm finding the content you're putting out there helpful big time in transitioning from saltwater to freshwater anyhow I live in Maryville Tennessee so if you're in the area ever fishing hit me up
Lots of fish lots of fun. Please just make sure you protect yourself with sunblock. Although it is beautiful it can also kill you. Great video. Thank you Sir.
"Goin to Lottie's". Best sausage biscuit I've had yet. Four Eleven at the north end of Ocoee, on the left hand side if you're going toward Benton, has a fried chicken skin appetizer. Try that if you're into that sorta thing.
WOW! Your Not Far From 100K Subscribers Congrats! BTW I'm so addicted to topwater fishing thanks for sharing this awesome video and as always loved the bible verse!
Top water action !!! Nice !!! Just noticed my son has also commented on here. We both love watching you do what you do ! ( Erik Blevins- Far North Idaho) RKB
The perch 90 is my personal favorite plopper. Good choice! I've been wearing out largies this year, and there is practically no better way to catch them!
John, in October it will be two years full time. You had what? 22,000 subs back then? By this October you should have an easy 100,000. Hope you have a good channel update planned. Been a long time since you have done one.
Bass fishing is not universal. Big bass like larger or fatter baits, and your rod is flimsy. A good bass rod will set hooks that few fish can throw. I've retired, sold my boat, and I don't desire to fish in the summer again. I watch your channel because you seem to catch fish with lures I would never use.
Great video John. Keep throwing into that shade. A popper would have been great too. Off topic be careful having your ears exposed. That's like the number one place for skin cancer to occur......
I love going camping at 2 rivers and bass fishing
You need to try an umbrella rig (Alabama rig) when those bass are schooling. I beleive you'll have a better chance of hooking multiples on your cast.
I'd love to show you my favorite area of the Broad in Hot Springs NC!!! Great for multi species fishing
11:15 SNACK TIME!
Another great video thank you very much I do enjoy watching your video

Another day in paradise
I love seeing the back of his head when the fish blow up
I caught a rock bass on a whopper plopper saturday. That was a first for
me
I've caught a channel catfish on one! I was like what!?!! 😂
@@CarolinaBassHunter You ever seen the videos of them catching giant Wels Catfish on them?? They are nuts!
@@brentonatkins yeah those things are huge!

I always enjoy your videos. Tight lines
for surface, the longer you wait, the bigger the bass (after lure hits the water)
I love this. dude!! So good!!
Another epic video 📹 😎
The whopper plopper 90 and 75 are my go to baits currently...
Awesome vid!
I went wading in a creek in Soddy Daisy this past weekend and smoked about 15 bass on a whopper plopper. Spotted and smallies. Had a blast!
Use the eagle claw Snell's hooks

It's always fun to throw different stuff at them. Ya never know...
I'm going up that way soon
Could have been a watermelon mountain dew
Man, you weren't kidding when you said you'd been tearing them up on the Plopper! Wish they'd have been like this when we went out.

Best fishing channel on the tube! Keep em coming John!!
ooohhhhh i realy love watching you my idol..
Great video! Love top water hits!
I love fishing creeks and shallow rivers like little river. Places like these aren't fished too heavily. Thanks for your videos.
Dude the followers weren't on your videos they were chasing the hooked fish. Dang that was cool. River looked beautiful once you pushed out from the launch. Love seeing you kicking it on topwater. Keep casting brother man...
That's a good day on the water! Great work John. Be safe buddy. Thanks for the video.

I've never fished that spot before , thank you for sharing John
I couldn't handle fishing a river like that, with all those rocks, and no smallmouth. It just doesn't seem right somehow.
Shadows are the best places
It can't be that hot out if they're hitting topwater that well. Nice job.
What brand of kayak are you using? It seemed very stable. God bless you and keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them.
Throwing a treble hook bait you need a moderate action rod and the white rod looks like a fast action and you will lose more fish using a fast action rods with that type bait
Are you a bass fisherman or a creek fisherman😂😂
Got to love the top water hits. Great video John 🤘

Man you don't know how much I wish I could do what you do 👍
Impressed with your casting accuracy! Great day of fishing!
"Goin to Lottie's".
Best sausage biscuit I've had yet.
Four Eleven at the north end of Ocoee, on the left hand side if you're going toward Benton, has a fried chicken skin appetizer. Try that if you're into that sorta thing.
How do you keep your go pro cameras running all day??, I only get about 2 hr max, thank you in advance for your help
You should come up to roan mountain Tennessee and trout fish
Brother that was a good day. I don’t do enough bass fishing. Enjoyed it
Awesome video and great stuff as always John! Looks like a really good day of fishing you had too! Stay Blessed Brother! 🙌🏻🙏🏻
Great video sir, love the land layout.
Keep the topwater coming! FishHooked loves the videos
I was going to go fishing today but it's fixing to come a thunderstorm ⛈️ so I guess I better stay at home 🏡, wishing you all the luck fishing.
What part of the ocoee is this? Where we go always has a good current, this looks awesome
It’s below ocoee dam 1 when the current was off
Take along a white 7in red fin for those stripers.
You got it made John. Luv the vids
Where’s he finding these ramps on Ocoee?
WOW! Your Not Far From 100K Subscribers Congrats! BTW I'm so addicted to topwater fishing thanks for sharing this awesome video and as always loved the bible verse!
The pedals are awesome man. Moving with both hands free! I can't wait! Crazy how groups of bass keep following your catches.
Subscribed and 👍 liked
Good stuff John, glad to see you have such success from what started as a weekend hobby 👍
Need a catfish video with Chris
You should do an underwater cam for when they come aside your kayak, of for the releases... gives great footage😉
great video

What brand is ur life jacket??
Please show us what lure you're using before you fish. Thanks
The perch 90 is my personal favorite plopper. Good choice! I've been wearing out largies this year, and there is practically no better way to catch them!
Do you come to Oklahoma often? I know you uploaded here somewhat recently. I know a place on the east side you would like
Do you Sharpen your hooks.?
i havent but probably should get a sharpener on hand
Grest video as always.
Now that you have had the Old Town for awhile, what are your likes and dislikes ?
What kayak is that??
Great video buddy!
What kayak you using onthis video? Btw I love your videos!

Hello Brother
john...please try to de-barb some of the hooks not all
Or all... like he is winching them in like crazy it doesnt even matter... we do proper drilling in europe, nothing like this
No!
Omg the fish are perfectly fine! Geez lol smh
I know how to make them big ones bite .you were almost to my house when you turned around .My son had a 4.5 lb spot last weekend.
what is in the pink can in the cup holder? Sure doesn't look like a mtn dew!
Looks like a Dollar Tree energy drink!
Great camera position.... cool video... just subscribed after realizing I wasn't : )
Are you friends with FishSmack?
Is that where the Ocoee and Hiwassee split?
Where they merge together
Was really hoping that big fish was going to hit that swim bait on the pass back. Better luck next time
I wish I could dip my flies in that water :'(
you know we cant see them when youre only pointing and saying look at them right lol

Great trip along the creek. Definately should have brought the topwater kit. That perch plopper has put in some work for you 👍
The video was great but I was expected more fishing than kayaking pretty much every area of the river looked like a good place to fish
Great video John. Keep throwing into that shade. A popper would have been great too. Off topic be careful having your ears exposed. That's like the number one place for skin cancer to occur......
You pasted my house would like to contact you and talk a bit
