You need to try an umbrella rig (Alabama rig) when those bass are schooling. I beleive you'll have a better chance of hooking multiples on your cast.

You released the best eats when you passed up on the redbreast. That was one fine sandwich just waiting for the pan. That was beautiful river float. Amazing what the good Lord provides if only we take the time to recognize it.

If you've never tried Stoneys you should get a BBQ sandwich with hot slaw. I used to fish that area before 2 rivers was there caught tones of everything at the mouth. Sauger to stripe, bass and bream my biggest hellbender came from right where the boat ramp is...

Your doing good bass eat everything from small fish to large snakes water depth & fishing equipment has nothing to do with it use what makes you comfortable usually you match the bait fish in your area I’ve used 12” swim baits myself but my most productive lure is 5” try a Bagley’s bang o lure black stripe in gold with 1 spinner in the rear popping or reeling it , it produces the most fish . I love fishing shallow water 1 to 3’ depth I’ve caught plenty of 8 pounders in knee deep water .

Throwing a treble hook bait you need a moderate action rod and the white rod looks like a fast action and you will lose more fish using a fast action rods with that type bait

Four Eleven at the north end of Ocoee, on the left hand side if you're going toward Benton, has a fried chicken skin appetizer. Try that if you're into that sorta thing.

Bass fishing is not universal. Big bass like larger or fatter baits, and your rod is flimsy. A good bass rod will set hooks that few fish can throw. I've retired, sold my boat, and I don't desire to fish in the summer again. I watch your channel because you seem to catch fish with lures I would never use.
