On a similar theme, would love to see you and Rob explore the land before time began. Looking for stamps with dinosaurs, sabre tooth tigers, prehistoric rock paintings in caves, or pyramids and hieroglyphics. There must be loads of prehistory or archaeology type stamps that could be fun to explore. :)
What an intriguing suggestion! Thanks so much the input and for watching!
Thanks for sharing your great stamps and your great friendship, too!
@@judyschultheis Thank you! We had so much fun making this video and all of the stamps vs stamp videos.
Watching from 2024.... This was a wonderfully enjoyable episode! You must have both had so much fun making it! Friendship is a brilliant theme. My favourite stamp was the giraffe stamp with the tiny bird. P.S. don't forget to take the tardis back to 2024 or you'll miss your dinner :)
So glad you enjoyed the video, it was a blast to make and don't worry I will be home in time for dinner. 😃
Awesome Episode!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved traveling with the two of you through time, in and out of the tardis.
@@billsweeney4785 Thanks for coming on the adventure with us! Glad you enjoyed the videos.
This was so fun to watch. You could have made a full length movie. Well done
Thanks so much, my friend! It was wonderful traveling through time and space with you.
Hey Smokie, another great watch with some wonderful stamps, I have a good collection of Japanese stamps & the topics are never ending! Have a great weekend, take care
@@schuey089 Thank you! It was such a fun video to make.
I was thrilled with the Belgian stamp from 1971 because it was issued on my birthday, and I collect stamps (and FDCs) issued on my birthday and this was one that I didn't know about this stamp. Now I know, I can go hunting.
@@stephenogier7499 I agree that the Belgian stamp is a beautiful stamp and how awesome that it was issued on your birthday. Happy hunting!
Another wonderful and inventive episode. Thank you.
Hi Stephen, i asked whether they could use the TARDIS THEME...
@@rogerturner1881 Good idea, Roger. I think they did a good job with it.
@@stephenogier7499 Thanks Stephen! It was a lot of fun to make, glad you enjoyed it.
Cool, fun! 😃
Thank you!
Great episode and thanks for letting me choose the episode using the infamous TARDIS. But i thought of an episode of different thing.
@@rogerturner1881 Thanks again for the suggestion to use the TARDIS! We both enjoyed working on these videos.
This was a super exciting Stamp vs Stamp. You and Rob both were creative and I think you missed a great career in making movies! 🙂I loved the stamps you showed. The 1971 stamp from Belgium is amazing, and I also, like you, especially liked the giraffes stamp with the bird from Japan issued in 1999. Congratulations to you and Rob for a year of collaboration and friendship!! ( I told Rob, it is probably time that I watch Doctor Who. I haven't seen any scenes or episodes yet, but it sounds very adventurous. )
@@GreatStampAdventure Hello Charnie, Thank you for such a lovely comment! Rob and I both had a great time making these videos. I agree that you should definitely watch Doctor Who, If you like sci-fi you will love it! Have a great weekend!
As you might imagine, having been born on 13 March, I think of 13 as being my lucky number (not that I really believe in lucky and unlucky numbers), but that made me think that perhaps for your 13th episode, you could possibly have a theme of lucky and unlucky stamps. For example, several countries have issued stamps that have lottery numbers whereby people can win (e.g. Japanese New Year stamps). The theme could go in a number of directions, so it could be up to you two to decide what you want to do, if you even like the idea. Just a thought.
What an interesting idea! Thanks so much for the suggestion!
