Have I mentioned how much I freaking love your videos?! So clear. So precise. So easy to follow. And I am waiting for my mini iron to arrive as I type this. I sure wish I had someone like you to teach me sewing basics when I was a young girl but I'm grateful that you post these videos and even at my age now, I can still create some terrific projects.
What a smart idea! I’m thinking about making adjustments for a casserole carrier. I read through the comments and saw that someone else had the same idea! Thank you for sharing your designs and encouraging our creativity 🥰
The funny thing is that I originally designed this for a casserole dish but my plans changed at end of year...... I don't like those carriers that are giant squares of fabric. I want to design one that will pull apart from handles so it is plain mat.
This is sew awesome. It will be great for classes, retreats, or anytime you take your sewing along with you. This is such a plus for sewers. Thank you for sharing this with us.
This is a great project with many uses. My daughter could use one for her curling iron and other tools when she travels. Thanks for your generosity and talent that you share.
First of all, I love the convenience of an iron caddy that is used as a pressing pad. Definitely handy. Second, I just simply enjoy watching you sew. You have such great, clear close-ups that make it so easy to follow. And your voice is calm and clear and makes for a pleasant video. Looking forward to making and using this. Thanks, Janet.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! ANOTHER great video!!! You inspire everyone with you talent!!! I LOVE ALL your techniques and you explain everything that makes it easy to understand all your "how to" tips that make sewing easier!!! Love you Angela and Merry Christmas to you, your family and ALL your followers!!❤🎅🤶🌲🧵🪡🪢
@@NotchesSewing Hi, I've just completed this caddy. Clear directions, but I need help, please, with a problem of frequent skipped stitches. I used a walking foot, lengthened the stitch length, sewed very slowly, used a microtex 90/14. Used batik cotton, cut an iron board cover with foam backing and cotton batting. I mostly used my Janome 3160, then switched to my trusty, strong Singer 301, but same issue of skipped stitches. Any suggestions, please? I love the pattern.
Thank you so much Angela, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing iron caddy and ironing pad. I think this is absolutely amazing and fantastic too. So useful and a brilliant design too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
¡Muchas gracias! 😊👏👏
That's really neat I'm very new to sewing and I can't wait to start sewing but I'm still trying to make sure I have everything I need to start. I hope you have a great day
Thank you. This would be very doable for a beginner. Take the time to get to know your machine by practicing stitching lines on scraps etc. Thanks for watching and happy sewing!
I love this! I’ve been wanting to make a similar caddy for my gemini junior die machine but wasn’t sure how to do it. I’m going to use this plan and modify the size. Won’t need ironing material but should have some sturdy duck cloth in my stash. Thanks for great ideas and wonderful videos! ❤❤❤
Wow another great video! I love all your videos, you are the best teacher. Instructions are so easy to follow, I look forward to getting notification of new videos. Thanks for sharing your expertise 😊

Great idea! What about a casserole caddy? What measurements would you suggest? Thank you.
I’m working on a design for that as we speak…..😊
Hi, I love this project!
Is this project far quarter friendly?
Yes, it is!
You are so creative! I'd like to make a music recorder holder but have no idea how to start. Any idea?
Thank you. You could make it like an extra long eye glasses case . Thanks for watching.
@@NotchesSewing thank you for responding! I will look and see if you have a demonstration on that.
❤
Thanks Wendy🥰
Do you have a pattern that is used to keep food warm while traveling? I'm noticing I need this during this time of year lol
I don’t at the moment, but you can make this in bigger size and use the insul-bright as the padding for insulation.
Wow, what is the brand name of you min iron please
the brand I have is Easy Home but I have a link for one just like it down in the description. Thanks for watching.😊
🥰🦋🌈🦋🥰
Do you have a pattern for a larger carrier?
I don’t but you can easily adjust this pattern. Just wrap around a bigger iron to see how much longer and wider you need.
I made it I just love it! Not to make it bigger. In your video you did you use two layers of batting?
@@michelleherman5298 yes as I already had one layer on the ironing board cover I cut up
We’re do I get the measurements from
link for pattern in description and comments. Cheers!

Please try again. I just refreshed and working fine.
Your directions are not specific for using batting and insulbrite. I am using iron on batting. So please describe the layering for me
I show in the video that I am using an ironing board cover with batting attached and need another layer. Use what you like for 2 layers of batting in between
Oops the link is not working for the pattern
I just checked and working. Please try again 😊
