Good video. This thing is over engineered and I'd say the execution is fair at best. Buttons don't always react when pushed and often I find myself repeating an operation until it responds...I was very reluctant to buy a computerized coffee maker instead of one with an on off switch. We wanted a 14 cup so seemed like the only option. When our coffeemaker works it works well but every few brew cycles the keep warm feature does not turn on. In time and frustration, I found that changing the keep warm cycle time even by 15 minutes will make it work again (until it decides to quit again) Several calls to braun customer service, if you can call it that, were unsuccessful in getting a replacement under warranty. We've used braun for 30 years, but this one may be the last. It may one day have an on-off toggle switch installed through the middle of its control panel when I get fed up with it enough...Hope yours works well for you.
I just picked up this model after my Hamilton Beach decided it would change the clock randomly through out the day. I am happy with it so far except the HB had one button to turn on the programmed coffee. This model requires you to press power, auto on, set, clock, regular(brew type) every night! it’s silly but I’ll get over it.
Yeah I thought the same thing. setting auto brew should be a lot easier.
@@JustADad I’ve been using the coffee maker for a week now and there is another quirk I’m trying to figure out. The auto on function is fine, but it seems in turns on at the correct time (for me 6am) the green power light kicks on and it brews about 6:20 the green power light turns off. Does this mean the hot plate is now off too? Because I’ve double checked and it’s set for 2hrs. The other day i brewed a pot with out the use of the auto on function and the power light was on for much longer, such a confusing coffee pot with a terrible manual. Any insight would be great 👍🏼
@@bt7482 That is weird. only thing I can think of is make sure the over ice button is not selected. when you brew with that it turns the warming plate off after its done brewing.
@@JustADad nope, it’s finicky and going back to Target. Sometimes when finished brewing it beeps and the power light stays on for 2hrs while the warming plate is on, other times it finishes brewing, beeps and then the brew light and power light click off as does the warming plate. Not impressed with this coffee maker. Over complicated user interface and a faulty warming plate.

Is it only me who has a problem with the buttons and it hard to touch them and I tried holding the buttons and clicking it a few time
They can be a little tricky
I replaced an older braun coffee maker with this and found it terrible
I could not set auto timmer and have it program more than one day at a time
The warming plate does not stay warm for longer than the brewing process even after it's programmed
A terrible coffee pot i will be contracting braun ,possibly i have a deffective one but it dosen't seem to have any memmory after setting it up it clears on next brew

I'm having the same problem where the warming plate does not stay on. Even though I programmed the warming plate to shutoff after 2 hrs, the machine shuts off right after brewing.😞
It is not Braun anymore. They sold out to DeLongi...which makes cheaper Chinese stuff. This UI is a mess. Sad to see a good manufacturer disappear.
We have had ours 3 months and the Temp button no longer functions. Thanks DeLongi for making crap stuff and selling it under the Braun name
