Great to see snook on the beach! Hell of a multi species day. I fished on Sanibel beach this morning before the winds hit but the only bait around was glass minnows. Question, what microphone are you using with your gopro?
I fished off Bunche yesterday, (further down past the channel) only caught catfish off squid. I cast needed a nice finger mullet and also a crab but no bites. I’ve been paddle boarding out my Baits quite a ways out and I don’t think it’s helping. You seem to catch all of your snook close to the shorebreak
I fished bunche beach also a few days ago. I lost two small snook down at the end at the canal with the lure but yes, not much there and they do run close to the shorelines.
I was there yesterday using green backs. I didn’t get one bite. Do you have any tips for me? I had a 1 ounce pyramid weight about 2 feet from my circle hook. I was casting around half way to the sand bar. Did I see you were using a sliding weight?
Yeah, it’s called a Carolina rig where the weight slides on the braided line but stops on the swivel with a few feet of liter with a size 2 circle hook. I was catching the other smaller stuff out by the sandbar, but the snook up very close to the shoreline. You have to have an eye for them.
I find myself really edgy when it comes to parking Corey. I don't know where to park and it seems like you know where to go. Can you teach me where to park so that I can get some good fishing and and not get towed
Things were looking better on Sanibel too when I was there Saturday 🤙
Yes they are. Red tide has completely gone away here thank God.
Good luck with the truck!
Thanks man!
Where did you get your cart that holds all your rods and stuff?

Caught a few snooks at little Carlos pass. Talked to FWC officer, he said the red tide is going upward. Hopefully, it will go away soon. Tight line!
Grandslam in my book . Nice to see some fish survived 👍 Nice schools of bait too!!!✌

You know I get really edgy too but it’s the chance I take and wouldn’t condone anyone to take those risks. There is no safe place to park anymore.
You need a fish tank man ☮️
