This theory is on Dumb Ways to Die, the hilarious little public service announcement released a couple of years ago. The moral of the story is to be safe around trains, but how deadly are the things that happen in the video?

I thought my complaint would be about the computerized text-to-speech voice, but upon looking at the comment section, it's the unending ocean of "OMG IT JUST A GAME/VIDEO" comments that truly bother me.
You're telling him not to take it so seriously, but it seems that it is all of YOU taking it too seriously, defending something as silly as a cartoon. Yes, the cartoon is just for fun, but so is this video. It's all entertainment. Don't get all up in arms over it.

I mean, you only die from food poisoning if:
1. It was poisoned with lethal poison.
2. There isn't a doctor In close range or the ambulance takes too long to drive to your house.
Or
3. The hospital is shitty
that type of food poisoning will just make you really sick for a bit and then you should be fine.
Food poisoning isn't actual poison...
Actually, the type of mold on the food isn't specified, so it is possible that it caused a reaction like anaphylaxis which is a life-threatening emergency that could lead to death if not treated immediately.

For the piranhas, that's assuming the four shown out of the water are the only ones in the water. Maybe there were tons, but most of them just didn't come out of the water.

Actually, the bees one is only deadly if you are allergic. I looked it up and for both wasps and hornets it takes 500 stings to kill a child and 1000 stings to kill an adult. I don’t know how many are in a nest but it’s probably less than that.

Okay, for everyone thinking that this guy over analyzed the dumb ways to die video, this theory is a joke. This person simply wanted to see how these dumb ways to die would work out in a realistic situation. Don't take the theory too seriously please.
ACTUALLY, they could all die. Just because the chances are low doesn't make it impossible. The only ones I see as lies are the bear, piranhas, toast (dust pile), and taking your helmet off in space (head exploding). Also, those are WASPS. Not bees.

Bees can actually sting you multiple times as long as their stinger doesn’t stick in your skin

the one with the bees: did you take into account that the bees were on both sides of his body front and back? that would mean all the bees you see times 2.
the one with the piranhas: only four were on his bones, but there could be several more in the water that ripped the person's flesh right off and are chowing down in the water
with the expired meds, it'd depend on how many you take, some medicines after they become expired can have a bad effect.
It also depends on what they're for. Take an EpiPen for example. If it is expired, it might not be useful for someone in anaphylactic shock and if they don't get help in time they'll likely suffocate.
The fact that people are actually commenting "it's just a game" and stuff makes me sad... I feel like the only one who was obsessed over the song BEFORE the game was out. I remember that I was stoked when the game came out. Now, people seem to only know it from the games. Sad.

so many people are saying "the original video wasn't meant to be taken seriously". Well, neither is this one. The guy knows that the original video is a joke but he's taking it seriously on purpose and the use of the computerised voice fits perfectly. I can just imagine some nitpicking future computer not getting human humour and genuinely thinking that people were suggesting those as possible methods of dying and then calling them out. It's also the kind of thing I can imagine spock doing to the exasperation of the rest of the crew. It's actually quite funny when you look at it like that :)
Yes, this video was meant to be exaggerated. I realize DWTD was completely unrealistic, this was just a little something I threw together months ago, because I figured it was an interesting idea to see what would actually happen. I don't why so many people are taking DWTD or any other video related to it so seriously. This video has al of the sudden gotten popular, and I have no idea why.
The Theorizer I only saw it bcos UA-cam recommended it. Maybe UA-cam did that with lots of people at once or something? Anyway thanks for the video it made me laugh :)
