What exactly is based about first insulting a legit and fair rating a review to then admit to doing exactly what the customer complained about? I dont think you understand either the review nor the reply and maybe dont understand what based is. If you interprete based as sticking to your position by insulting others even tho your position is wrong, then yes, youre right. If the guiness was poured badly whats shite about it and how is the owner based? They basically admitted to the poor quality being possible because they are understaffed and/or underequipped and/or new staff trained poorly, basically, well our place sucks that why your beer sucks, so dont complain, ok? The whole reply was full of poor excuses and shifting the blame. "the beer was shite cos the customers want everything fast" (blamed the customer, even tho he didnt ask for a (fast) guiness and at the same time admitted to them serving crappy products knowingly cause they see no other way) "the beer was shite cos the customers want everything fast AND they were very busy" (blames the fact they were busy. which is a poor excuse cause if youre too busy to offer a decent product, then your place sucks and you deserve a bad rating and you should add more staff/machines or offer less seats or dont let in any more people?!) The lack of reaction by the waiting staff the owner blames on the waiting staff being new. Or maybe the staff wasnt trained properly? Or just sucks? Again, sounds like 100% the owner's problem. Also you dont need to be genius pro waiter to forward a customer complaint about a bad drink/meal or resolve it yourself. The whole reply of the owner translates as: You are absoutely right and we do this often because im the manager and i suck at managing. But also bad reviews are bad for business and thats why im replying and insulting you, the customer. I really regret that all of this happened, if i could turn time back, i imagine if the waiter would have told me, i would have told her to bring you a new, properly drafted guiness. inb4 tldr because u dont actually read based answers especially when they prove you wrong so ull reply with some crap to discredit my wall of text hoping most ppl wont read it anyways.
