- Hi Guys! Welcome back to my channel.
In this video, I will be testiing the phantom power supply for 3 Audio Interface which is:
Ammoon AGM-02
Focusrite Scarlette Solo Gen 3
Solid State Logic SSL2
Do we really need 48VDC phantom power to get our condenser microphone to sound good? Or is it ok to have less then the ideal amount?
Watch The Video To find out how the devices fare against each other.
Thanks for visiting.

Tats wat i wanted it to do...
True true. Great video! I feel you can't go wrong with either Scarlette or SSL 2. I am a bit biased because I have the SSL2 as well and i love it! :)
yes SSL is my fave too...
thanks so much :)
No problem mate! Thanks for watching...
v informative video thenks!! would it work just fine if one were to stick the probes into it too?
Nice video, I feel from the beginning the focusrite is better they are global company and the criteria is important for them
Yes... Me too... Focusrite is the best selling interface for a good reason...
Your music is scary, nice video
thanks mate...
I was about to throw my Rode NT1 into the garbage. Then I thought "Might it be the Phantom power?". I tested the phantom power and it was fine (107V on my Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen btw). Then I tested the cable (XLR-Jack) and it was fine. But wait a minute... XLR-Jack ??!! For Phantom power mic ?!! I switched to XLR-XLR and everything worked just fine... I feel so stupid... 🤦♂
Can you turn off zero latency
monitoring on the ammoon?
please make a tutorial on how to record multi track with the agm02 using the panning technique
Will try if i have more time soon...
@@FrostTech I think it has a crosstalk issue, i cant record a true stereo from the agm02. Evene i have already hard pan i still hearing something coming out the other channel
@@elijahjimenez3626 yes... Now i cant get it to work like that anymore... Did it once last time... But cant replicate that result now.. gimme some time to figure it out...
@@FrostTech have you been able to do it? i'm about to buy it but that's a no-go if i can't do multi track
If you want to have multi-track recording , you rather look for usb 2.0 interface. Usb 1.1 is not enough for more than 16-bit at 44khz streaming.
Can u test the voltage on the mic 3.5 jack?
Ok sure... Will do that soon... But from my normal testing, it's connected to ch1...
Is there going to be sound difference while plugging a guitar? If yes which one is going to be best?
The best would be the SSL... But scarlett is almost there in quality too...
Can you help about the loopback?
I can't seem to have it work with mac.
which?
can u test muslady 222a thanks :)
sure... once i receive it from you... hehehe
@@FrostTech xD i havent even bought it hahaha but all reviewers says its nice.. but how nice it is .. is what i want to know hahaha
@@amd9918 yeah mate... i got too much interfaces now... if i can reduce it... maybe will get the Muslady for review/test ... We'll see how it goes yeah...
Great video but wtf is that music man take that shit out
Silly test. Your test device has a LOT of error so that 46.7v is probably 48v if you consider the device has at least 5% to 10% (+/-) error - Sheesh ... waste of time. T
