Taylor for BETJ and TM3, this Spring 2007 conversation brought together the iconic Nicholas Ashford and his lovely wife and music partner Valerie Simpson with the husband/wife duo of Fatin and Aja (Kindred The Family Soul) at Nick and Val's home in NYC. They spoke candidly of love and marriage, music and working together through fights and arms full of children. I AM REALLY PROUD OF THIS SHOW!

I am loving this. I told my husband a few years ago that Kindred was the new A&S. And to see them together just warms my heart. Unfortunately, commercial radio doesn't give Kindred their just due.

These two couples are just toooo CUTE!!!! I Listen to this video over and over just hear them converse over shared experiences even though the are from slightly different eras. The comraderie is great. WARM AND COZY ARE THE EMOTIONS THAT COME TO MIND. AWESOME😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤SWEET. SWEET SWEET

This was a really great piece taking from two different sets of perspectives and generations. And I can hardly wait to see what happens with Nick and Val's Broadway show.
Thank goodness I didn't see this video before Nick's untimely passing. These 2 were my fantasy couple. I would've been in line to tell him "you betta not evah leave this woman" : )

I SURE HATE NICK DIED SO SUDDEN .. THAT WAS JUST HEART BREAKING FOR VALERIE .. GOD KNOW WHAT HES DOING I BELIEVE HE WENT TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR AN ABSOLUTE WAL.KING ANGEL .. GOD TRUELY BLESSED THEM TOGETHER .. AND THEY DID SO GOOD ALL THESE YEARS THEY WROTE FOR SMOKY ROBINSON AND MARVIN GAY AND STILL LOOK IN THEIR 40S I WAS SHOCKED AT NICKS AGE WHEN HE DIED DIDNT KNOW HE WAS THAT OLD BUT THEN AGAIN he wrote for moton the jacksons and steveie wonder to.... lol love these too
