The natural edge has to be one of the best channels right now. The motivation and deeps thoughts about life make you think and I’m so happy that this channels is slowly being recognised. Hope this channel becomes successful
Great to hear it 👍
You should do this with the homeless and learn their stories pretty unique people, and it gives them a decent kit whilst on an adventure.
This is what we need more of in society! Found your channel a few days ago been binge watching since. Thank you for serving our country and keep the videos coming!
Thanks Sarah. Glad you enjoyed them!
Love this! You're right that adventures don't need to be huge, planned events. Wish I'd got involved with this, hopefully see you on the next one
Next time! 🫵
Hope there will be more events where we can get involved with you!
Stay tuned and we will make sure everyone knows about anything else we do
That was genuinely brilliant. I love the idea of spontaneity.
Glad you enjoyed it!
People are far more open and receptive to learning when on an adventure. Great idea!
That's so nice you all came together as strangers and left as friends . You must do that as a yearly event. Nice job.
That was a fantastic micro adventure Simon. Spontaneously getting involved, dusting my tent off, chatting around the campfire with strangers at midnight after a glass of red was a great experience! Top work on making it happen and a great video
Missed out on that one, awesome to get people out it really clears the mind.👊🏻
Next time!
Brilliant stuff 👏
This was an amazing experience. Thank you guys for organising. Till the next one 🤙🏻
Thank you for coming 🙌
What a fabulous idea, I'd do that at the drop of a hat, nothing like sponntinaity.
Cheers all
Ian
Go for it!
I try, I had to retire early due to cancer. It's been quite a ride, and strangely there's an argument to be made that it's possibly one of the best things to happen to me.
I'm 61 and have now had 11 years of retirement, done things I maybe wouldn't have done and have been out of the rat race.
Cheers
Hey Simon, where've you been. Love the content, keep it up fella 👍
We are still here, there’s another episode out in June. Thanks for being part of it mate 🫱🏻🫲🏼
Im probably not your tatget audiance being ex-army and over 50. But I got a little depressed after leaving the army because I found I was no longer able to match what I was able to do in my younger years. I lost all motivation to train as it all felt like failure to me as all my PB's were many years behind me. But this attitude was slowly but surely killing me and contrabuting to my decline. As you age it feels like you need to train twice as hard to achive half as much but I am now starting to realise that the smaller return on your work is still worth it. the same applies to other areas in life saving money seems pointless because you dont have enough years ahead to build a large sum but it is not poinless as anythig is still better than nothing
Anything small is progress mate and You’re never too late to start, ever. I understand the feelings of lack of community and losing the PB’s etc. You could try a new sport or skill and create new PBs etc. for example, I took up skateboarding the last 12months and have been pretty humbled by it l, but have kept the consistency and it’s beginning to pay off. Stay in the fight Philip 👊🏼
What Rucksack you got? Really enjoying your videos man!
It’s an osprey one, not sure of the exact model.
Looks like that camping trip went really well maybe you could make it a bigger annual thing 👍
That's the plan!
Awesome 🙌
👊 thank you!
I'm definitely inspired to give this a go 😃👌
You should! Great to hear and let us know how you get on.
Scotland would make for a good camping experience...
Class
200kg bench press and what?
I want this. I will make it up to this.
🙌🙌🔥🔥
Thank you!
For those that don't have instagram, and if (hopefully) there are more events to come, where can we hear about these?
We will make sure we post here and linked in
Hey mate, quick question somebody mentioned to me if youre fit enough to pass RM training youre fit enough to pass SF? Is he talking bollocks or not, hes in rm rn but never tried out for sf himself
I’ll say that any determined human can get themselves fit enough to pass those tests, RM & SF. That’s not a difficult thing to do, but being able to stay motivated, consistent, and not require feedback is the key I think. Most people talk themselves out of selection and get too inside their own heads.
Hey, did you ever serve with a guy called Paul Bushell? From Northern Ireland. If you did, we're "cousins", you know that kind. Friends of family since children. Not blood related.
Nothing for months, what’s happened?
6th of June mate. Standby.
I thought I saw you in Hackney Central yesterday 😅 on Saturday 6th.
