Woody Harrelson's father was hired by the Chagra brothers to kill a San Antonio judge. The character of Chigurh in No Country for Old Men is based on the Chagra brothers. The Coen brothers hired Woody Harrelson to play a hitman in No Country for Old Men.
All of Bill Murray's lines were improvised. He actually bowled 3 strikes in a row, so the crowd was already amped to see him pull that off, that just added to his performance. One of my favorite roles of Bill Murray.
Yes, when The Farrelly brothers told him what his role was and showed him the script he didn’t look at it and told them “I got this”. And the rest is history.
I followed Bill Murray at the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf tournament and on one hole he had a 15 ft putt for birdie. He bet everyone around the green, maybe 250 people, $1 that he'd make it. He made everyone hold up a $1, sank the putt, and then walked around and collected every last one.
Allegedly one of the 3 tramps picked up by the railroad tracks in Dallas, right after the Kennedy assassination; pretty sure he claimed to be involved.
Woody Haralson's father wasn't an actor that I am aware of. He was an assassin that was implicated in several murders and was convicted of two. The final one being a federal judge.
This movie doesn't take itself seriously, like it's not trying to be the greatest film. It's meant to give you a little laugh and be entertaining, which it accomplishes imo. It also has an underrated soundtrack.
I love this movie, when it came out on video my father was going through chemotherapy and was not doing well, I rented it and we watched it together. I never saw my dad laugh so hard and now whenever I see it I think of him. R.I.P. Dad, I miss you.🥲
The story I heard about the landlady is she's the sister of one of the producers at New Line who got a few bit parts here and there, you can see her as one of the teachers in A Nightmare on Elm Street, for example. She wanted this part, but they didn't think she was right for it. So she dressed herself up like some disgusting smackhead and came to their office. Just as they're trying to figure out how to delicately get her out of there, they recognize her. And she gets the part. She played a couple similar characters afterwards in There's Something About Mary and Detroit Rock City.
Not to mention the teacher in A Nightmare on Elm Street / the receptionist in Critters / a PTA meeting attendant in Pump Up the Volume / Neugeborgen in Dumb and Dumber / Jam's Mom in Detroit Rock City / the nurse in Say It Isn't So / the Makeup Artist in Stuck On You!
I think 20:04 went over my head back when I watched the movie. "Roy Munson has one of the most intimidating hooks in all of bowling." He literally has a hook underneath his fake rubber hand.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The unrated version is a lot better , in my opinion. Amish men are only allowed to grow beards once they are married, easy way to see who is single and available. As for the landlord's cunnilingus skills, scary good lol
2:39 - Dude, that actor playing Munson's father in this movie is not Woody Harrelson's dad. He's actor Daniel Greene, and he's only 6 years older than Woody which would make it impossible for him to be his dad, lol. His dad's name is Charles Harrelson, who died in 2007 at the age of 68.

I don't know if I've ever looked for this movie to watch - but, any time it's been on TV, IMPOSSIBLE to skip it, classic background movie! Love me some Farley Bros comedy!
This was the first thing I saw Woody Harrelson in, and it’s amazing how he was known earlier in his career for his comedic sitcom characters and now he’s one of the more recognized character actors of the last decade
I saw this in the theaters as a adolescent and I was cracking up but many of the jokes went over my head especially the Bull joke. I now laugh so hard when it comes up.
Freedy Johnson's songs, _"Bad Reputation"_ and _"This Perfect World"_ were a great addition to an already fantastic Farrelly flick. Whenever you hear these songs, you think of this movie.
Hey I just wanna say I appreciate you man. You've really been helping me get through some tough times. I recently got in a bad break up with a girl I used to live with and I have trouble watching movies by myself because I never watched anything with out her for so long. But watching your videos has helped me enjoy movies again because I have someone to watch with so I don't get so lonely. That you so much. I can't explain how much it means to me. It would mean so much to me if you responded. But I understand if you don't. I know I'm just one of many people trying to get your attention.
Pro golfer Brad Faxon is in the crowd of fans at the beginning, hangin' out with Roy. "Pump and dump" LMMFAO!!!!!! "What are we gonna do with a rubber hand?" LMMFAO!!!!!!! GREAT reaction, thanks!!!
The band at the end was the Blues Travelers. You should check out some of their songs. The official "Hook" video would fall under your cinematic interest, and it has a great hook.
There’s an Amish community near where I live in NY. I see them at the store, see them with their horse and buggy, and once in awhile see them selling baked goods at stores. They pretty much keep to themselves and don’t bother anyone.
I don't care too much if you watch the movies I suggest, but you should because I will try to suggest real hidden treasures like: Diggstown! Love that one, love your channel too!

"That looks like something from a horror movie!" Funny you should say that, since actress Lin Shaye is now most well known for starring in all 4 (and soon to be 5) films in the Insidious franchise.
A co-worker got me to watch this movie à few years back & ever since we randomly walk past ea h others desk and yell "Who you calling à psycho?!?!"🤣😂 We don't love this movie as a great movie, we love it for what it is.
I think some of these movies, where a lot of people grew up on them; like, I was born '88. So I saw this, Happy Gilmore, etc. when I was a kid. Now I have fond memories, and it's still entertaining. But I loved it as a kid.

Great movie... The bill murray improvised scene in the cafe at the start is the best scene... "why dont you go eat that outside"... "hi.. Hi.. Not you"... "when you come back could you wash off that perfume" loooooooooopl
I just discovered your channel and what a great movie to first watch your reaction to. I love this movie. You are reaction funny to watch as well. I will have to check out more of your uploads.
8:12 well talking about horror movies, that actress is Lin Shay, she is literally almost in all horror movies today. But when she does comedy she loves playing these 'oversexed' characters who look 'unattractive' in some way. I mean she's almost 80 now and TBH she is not a bad looking woman irl.
The scene where the indian in the truck threw the trash at him walking down the street? They were making a parody of a commercial back in the 70s about not littering. The commercial featured a guy dressed as an indian chief standing on the side of the road...maybe on horseback, can't remember. People were driving by and someone threw a bag of trash out of their car as they drove by. The camera did a slow pan from the trash up to the indian's face and he was shedding a tear.
The bit about sleeping with Ishmael for a million dollars is a spoof of Indecent Proposal, a huge, since largely-forgotten box-office smash co-starring Woody Harrelson, released 3 years before this.
This movie knows what it is and it leans in to it, it never tries to act like it's a serious movie. I really enjoy this movie but I remember the cultural context it came out in, I remember the "crying indian" commercial (fun fact: he was Italian) and other things in this movie so when these jokes hit I still get it but I get they are VERY aged and I get how someone could watch this and be totally "meh" on it. Above all else, It is a movie for its time.
I'm guessing your past sports comedies(Happy Gilmore, Talladega Nights, Baseketball, The Big Lebowski...) sparked this one lol I've only seen it once I think, decades ago. ✌🏽🤘🏼
A classic for sure, ELO Showdown is genius. Still think you'd love Kiss Kiss Bang Nang or The Matador (Pierce Brosman) for dry comedies. If you're looking for something classic/golden era for just great acting, 12 Angry Men or To Kill a Mockingbird are equally exceptional.
I respect your honest opinion. Idk, some of that sh!t just hits me funny as hell. It's interesting to me that you showed some clips of the unedited version which apparently I had never seen before - thanks. I know you were grossed out by the landlord lady, but her's are some of the funniest scenes for me. The visual of Woody (puking) in the background beneath her exposed thigh is an homage to a very famous scene from The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman (with a hilarious spin, imo.).
That's not his father, Woody's father was literally an Organized Crime Hitman that murdered a Federal Judge
and crazily enough, implicated in the kennedy assassination by conspiracy theorists
@@CumpasFilms by himself, Charles made the claim himself
The movie is a bit if a parody of "the Natural " 2nt best movie after the original " Bad news Bears" 1976

That's not Woodys father, that's Daniel Greene. Harrelsons father was a legit hit man who killed a federal judge
And that's what led Oliver Stone casting Harrelson in Natural Born Killers.
That actually explains a lot.
plus that actor is also only a year older than woody lol

Yes! I love the soundtrack 🙌🏽

before this movie, the 'Blues Travelers,' had a very different public image. the lead singer was portrayed as a good looking thin dude.
Yeah he tends to misunderstand some comedies

That's so awesome! I'm so glad this movie gave you both laughs and comfort at a bad time. Sorry he passed. But glad you have this memory! ❤️
Shoutout Mr. Tatro.
Bill Murray’s hair got robbed of an Oscar. Not even a nomination
This is my grandma’s favorite movie. We watch it together about once a year. She’s 96.
“You’ll hit that split the same day I start loosing my hair”.
Lin Shaye who played Munsons landlady was actually in a horror film. She plays Nancy’s teacher in A Nightmare On Elm Street!!
She’s the sister of the guy who runs New Line Cinema. She’s in other movies by the Farrelly brothers
She’s also in the whole ‘Insidious’ franchise
This was Bill Murray unleashed!!! All improv lines and the dude legit picked up 3 Strikes in a row for that finish
"There's Something About Mary" is another Farrelly brothers movie you should check out. :)
Me, Myself, & Irene
Dumb and Dumber.. and I'd still go to bat for Shallow Hal . Stuck On You is fun to watch for Kinnear and Damon though
Tell me you flog the dolphin before any big date!
I hope u keep the woman in ur dreams haha
Bill Murray with
Randy Quaid and Geena Davis "Quick Change" a bit of a sleeper but all & all an excellent heist movie.
One of my favorite groups, Blues Traveler, doing the closing song.
Bill Murray and Woody Harrelson, how could this not be a classic? Randy Quaid and Vanessa Angel also both put in great performances.
@Necramonium says you lol!
@Necramonium It's not that good, but here you are hanging out on a reaction video of it. Not very good at choosing how to spend your time, are you?
@Necramonium it was a rhetorical question.
@Necramonium lol you dont speak for everybody. This is actually a classic.
And Vanessa's co-stars.
The band playing at the end was Blues Traveler, on Harmonica and Vocals was John Popper.
Popper also made a cameo as the announcer at the tourney.

Yes, Kingpin is most certainly a classic.
Do Captain Ron! No one else is doing it
This hits even funnier knowing that the landlady is Elise from insidious
Her brother is [or was] the man behind new line cinema. She's been in quite a few horror movies over the years.

Woody's dad died in prison while serving 2 life sentences. That definitely wasn't his real dad. Lol...
Woody Harrelson's dad was actually a mob hitman....so, kind of an actor...lol Not his dad in the movie though.
- SCENT OF A WOMAN - AL PACINO
- SLEEPERS
- MISERY - JAMES CAAN
- A BRONX TALE 🔥🔥
Definitely agree with Sleepers
Awesome movie!!

Woody Harrelson’s dad wasn’t an actor. He was a hit man and actually died in federal prison in 2007 after killing a judge.
Yeah! That's what it was.... I knew I heard something. Welp, appreciate it.
Also was a conspiracy that he mightve been of the 3 'tramps' that were arrested on the day of JFK's assassination but he denied it.
Is also suspected of being involved in the JFK assassination as a helper/handler. He's supposedly in the "bums/tramps photograph".
