  • Persimmons are my favorite fruit during this time of the year which is fall. They are becoming pretty popular is the PNW as i have seen many homes with the trees in their yard. They are very visible when all the leaves fall off and all you see are yellow and orange balls hanging from the trees. We had to harvest ours pretty early this year due to the cold weather and all the rain that we have been getting lately. They have already ripen pretty well but it would of been nice to let them still ripen on the tree for another couple of weeks and i think they would turned out really sweet and delicious. Thank for for watching and i hope this video was fun to watch.
    Thank you so much for all your support and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to comment below and i will answer your questions as i see them. Cheers to the great outdoors life!

    I’m so jealous. I also like the fuyu persimmons sweet and crunchy but I have freezed some over ripe hachiya persimmons. I take them out of the freezer, cut the top and dig in with a spoon. It’s like a wonderful sherbet.

    I have a wild persimmon tree in my yard.I live in the south east. They are very small. The only thing that attacks them are yellow jackets. They are small like acorn size. That’s cool about your persimmons

    I love eating them when they are still firm and crunchy, it's a nice texture and makes less of a mess with dripping sugary juices, forcing you to wash hands, clean the spill and possibly change clothes 😂

      I totally agree! When they are soft it’s more like eating a pudding and I’m not a fan of pudding and yes it’s very messy as well lol 😂

    Wow that is awesome… I had like a few this year for the first time. Can you please ask your sister how she fertilize these trees? And how long did it take for the trees to be that big?Thanks

    • @washingtonlife
      @washingtonlife  2 роки тому

      She doesn’t fertilize them at all and they been growing for over 20 years. Thank you so much for watching. Yours will produce a lot of fruits too eventually 😃
