I am absolutely blown away!!! I have my jaw dropped it almost hits the ground from witnessing sheer perfection! I would love to touch about everything I see. I just found you today but subscribed!!! Due to the progression of my MS ( multiple sclerosis ) I can no longer hike or camp so this journey into your forest is my memories coming alive again. It make me think of some of the mysterious sights and sounds I experienced just upon arrival late at night into a new spot with the tent not set up yet and me just sitting on a park bench listening intently for the creatures around me to feel safe to resume their courtship sounds and making beautiful music to my ears. Oh was that a pixie I just saw? Thank you!!! I pray I will be able to purchase one of your journals soon.

@@passionsofpaper you achieved your goal for sure! Once I was awakened by 5 coyote peering inside my van with my dog looking at them. I did not have the energy to set up the tent so slept in there. If you ever come across either a coyote or wolf to add into the forest it would also be lovely. You take my breath away with my memories of so many forest in your journal. I shave to hope to get one of yours in the future❤️❤️❤️
@roxannefechtman7666 Oh my goodness! What a magical and scary experience! I can't even imagine! I took a break over winter from creating, but as spring comes, I'm getting back into it. I plan to make more journals that are nature themed mixed with this dark forest theme and will be smaller (around 200 pages) to be more affordable. I got some new digitals and I think one of them has wolves. If not I'll buy some digitals with wolves because they definitely belong in these journals!

That Dark Forest Fantasy Junk Journal is absolutely fantastic! I love everything about it, and felt inspired to try making one of that ilk. I love faeries, and dragons, and so this project of yours appealed to me immensely! I think journals like that one would cost hundreds of dollars, right? You sure put a lot of time and creativeness into it!

WOW!!! WHERE DO I START??!!! Its completely AMAZING!!! The cover,.....there's really no words. FANTASTIC!!! The pages,....FABULOUS!!! You put so much time & energy. And THOUGHT!! Starting with story of what happened in its adventure. You put so much into each & every page. Including how they feel, + sounds they make. I understand how you pause to let it go. That would be very difficult. That green tracing paper page IS so cool. Funny how you don't even know how that happened. LOL! I often look back on my pieces and have no idea how I did it. Guess I should take notes!! Haha!

This is so awesome. I have just gotten into junk Journaling and have made only one. I live in the country in the woods and I got a lot of ideas from you. One question though, what kind of glue do you use? One lady said she wasn't sure of long term sticking with glue sticks but the liquid glues I used often wrinkled the paper. Keep it up, I want to see what you do next.
Thank you! Junk journaling is the BEST! It has changed my life! I use strictly art glitter brand glue bottles with the metal tip so it comes out in super thin lines. It takes very little of that glue to put things together, thus no wrinkling. Its the most permanent hold of all the glues I've tried. Ive tried alll of the glue sticks and would never, ever use those in something I want to last more than a couple months, no matter how much people seem to praise them. Whenever I buy a journal on Etsy I can always tell who used a glue stick because things are just falling off.

Can you please tell me how you adhere the feathers and also the leaves especially the ferns? I am watching again because I just admire your work so much! I would like to frame some feathers I have found over the years but have been afraid to ruin them since they come with stories.
Feathers I either glue along the spine of it or use washi tape to hold it to the paper. The leaves are silk and sewn on.
Oh no its reserved. I was too late! Ah well. Maybe this will give me the kick up the butt to try and make my own similar not that it will be anything as good as yours but might be fun to try!
I will be making other forest/nature journals! I plan to work in this theme for several journals, but they will all be different.

@@QueenNoTeetha151 I'm sorry I never ended up posting it. I have a junk journal friend who is wanting it for an engagement gift for her daughter so I am reserving it for her. BUT I am almost done making my own version of this journal and might be making some more similar to this to sell because I'm having sooo much fun working in this dark theme that I don't want to stop. And since other people seem interested in it getting this journal as well that encourages me to continue in this style.
