I wish they synced a lot better with the timing of the words. Not your fault, obviously, because they have their own different versions of the song. But it throws me off quite a bit hearing some words lag behind by a whole beat because of how long a certain note was or wasn’t held by the other

Agreed. It does have a cool effect at some parts, but that OCD part of my brain still itches for them to line up. Nothing I can really do about it though, and they sound good regardless.
