Yeah, it's basic, no one's going to deny that, but the feeling of anger and intensity is conveyed through the hard-hitting rhythm and beats of the song. Majesty and Decay is good, for certain (if not a little niche), but in terms of sheer intensity, this track and the DooM OST in general just hits a new level that a lot of other songs just really don't, in my personal opinion.
I don't know if you can crown a "best videogame soundtrack ever" but without a doubt in my mind no other soundtrack fits and perfectly compliments it's game like dooms.
