I loved Children of the Corn (1984) because of the score, the make up effects and Isaac being my number one favorite character. The music in the background was really scary and I really liked it and I liked the makeup effects with Isaac in that movie
I would probably include the Human Centipede franchise. I'm not kidding, I stayed at a psychiatric hospital for a week to avoid hotel costs while waiting for my new apartment. And this crazy old lady played all 3 of them on Tubi. The staff didn't give a shit.
I just did a lot of cocaine and told them I was suicidal. They can't turn you down. Even if you don't have insurance. At least in Rhode Island it's a thing. The place is called Butler Hospital. Very historic and well funded place. Definitely needs a good horror movie about it. Plenty of old abandoned and haunted buildings on the massive property. Had a good time there. You really need to expand into Japanese and Korean horror. Lotta good stuff. And try to watch the subtitled version for the love of all that's holy. I honestly hadn't pulled my The Grudge remake off the DVD shelves in quite awhile and was surprised at how well it held up recently. I haven't seen all the sequels, but The Grudge, The Ring, Pulse are definitely pretty solid. On the Korean side if you haven't seen The Wailing, Train to Busan or Parasite then you have something to look forward to. Have to agree on Children of the Corn. I mean, how many times are they going to f that story up? Maybe it's just not meant to be.

When video rentals were still a thing, my friends and I were always ECSTATIC to see a new Puppet Master on the shelves. Those movies are clearly intended to be made fun of in a party setting. They are completely nonsensical to the point of being just a hair away from slapstick comedy
I gotta say I really like Jeepers Creepers 2. It was using the best elements of that universe to have fun with itself and not take itself too seriously. I prefer it over the first one actually. Super cool set pieces

I also really don't like the Hellraiser franchise, but I think the original film is fantastic. Also Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth is kind of fun, Hellraiser: Inferno, and Hellraiser: Judgment aren't too bad. I don't like any of the other Hellrasier films, though.
I honestly never really liked jeepers creepers even before finding out about the director. Zombie Flesheaters comes to mind. Only the first is decent. The rest aren't even real sequels, but original zombie flicks they just re-titled. I only like the first two Return of the living dead movies, so there's more bad films than good in that series.

i have seen most of the leprechaun movies except for the last one that came out so I can agree that least for me I can easily watch the first 4 beyond that I dislike. not watchable beyond the first watch. as for jeepers creepers ya if the director didnt have that dark history the movies probably would have been different. wish the second one felt like the first one and still have the creeper stopped at the end and maybe found out more history about the creeper but we didnt heck because of that I didnt keep the jeepers creepers movies in my collection.
I never even thought of The Grudge as a franchise. 😂. I love the Japanese Ju-on the original film. The American remake is good. Can't and won't disagree with you on any of these franchises, but two I would add would be the Amityville Horror franchise here the first two are decent and maybe the remake with Ryan Reynolds but after that there are at least 30!!! trash piles in this franchise. Second for me is the Hellraiser franchise only the first stands as a good movie the remake is alright Pinhead and the cynobites look good but it just seemed neutered, not risque enough to be a proper Hellraiser flick. Everything in between is a hot stinking pile of garbage even part 2, with the only redeeming thing til 9 is Doug Bradley.
I have avoided the run for the hills franchises as I call them franchises so bad you yeah run away wrong turn is rough saw is really up and down mainly the Hoffman saga and spiral Friday the 13th overall is a poor franchise mainly because there is no story and just gimmicks in most of them 3d Jason vs Carrie Jason in space you get the point
