I went in the winter by myself and hated it! Was so wet and boggy and found it very depressing there. Might have to give it another go sometime in the dry
Hi Scott, unfortunately I don’t think I do. I usually forget to start my Strava. Quite a few of the trails were really easy to find (off the main fire roads etc) but we ended up riding all over the place. There are plenty there to explore. Might be worth checking out Trailforks or something for a bit of an idea where to search.
I'd love to see you do a video of attempting the Goliath climb at Eastridge without dabbing (I failed miserably), that would be an awesome achievement!
Apparently parts of the red trail are closed at the moment, but as soon as it opens up I plan to give Goliath a try. Was thinking about taking the hardtail 🧐
@@bikeandbeyond Good plan. I was on my enduro bike & was already shattered from riding Hopton Woods earlier that day. Goliath seems to go on forever & there are several pretty steep & techy bits, but with your skills, fitness & the hardtail I reckon you have a great chance! .
@@bikeandbeyond Goliath is open atm, I went up it last week and it was all OK. Obviously dabbed a lot. Up Goliath and then straight down Student Champs, brutal.
@@jonathant7150 The only trail center climb that I know that's worse than Goliath is the Twrch trail climb at Cwm Carn. I was there today & dabbed plenty :(
There's nothing like the feeling of successfully getting down a steep trail for the first time, buzzing!
You’ve got that right 🥳
This one's still on my list of locations to visit, so it was interesting to see how you got on. Thanks for posting.
Definitly worth a visit. Trails are pretty easy to find too. They are everywhere.
Eastridge is such a good place, great for practicing steep trails, great video 👍
Yeah it is awesome. I am definitely going to be spending a bit more time there this summer.
Great woods, loads more new ones over on the snailbeach side now. Seem to have added on to existing tracks
Amazing. I will have to have another visit
Been going here for years, currently on a nukeproof scout hardtail. As long as you pick your lines every trail at easty is doable.
Awesome. I can’t wait to go back there
Love it there
Yeah it’s amazing!
I ride everything there on my hardtail... my mate lives there we ride this place often

Yeah its amazing how different places can be between summer and winter. Definitely worth giving it another visit.
You are far too hard on yourself. We all have our off days. Great video, those trails look amazing.
Thanks man. Yeah really amazing trails.
Do you have a strava route or gpx i could look at to get bearings of where the trails are?

Thank you for replying, trailforks is a good shout!
