Yes and Jamaica recognizes children born to Jamaican parents abroad as Jamaicans. The children are applying for their Jamaican passport and moving to Jamaica.
As much as we want to deny it, most of it is because of America. Play Todd woman to drive because women didn't drive in countries as much as America, they invented smartphone smart TVs smart everything that's teaching people a lot lot lot. I can see everyone in Jamaica is sounding like American now exactly but I know it's the one world order creeping up on them. That young lady is very wise by saying you don't need to take up a man just to say you have a man, this is the thing in Jamaica they are dating everyone and also sleeping with them catching all these different diseases, just to say they have a man because the culture tells them they have to sleep with everyone. I want to move to Jamaica also my parents are Jamaicans and I have been visiting Jamaica a lot and my heart is still there. I love nature I love natural foods. America is great it teaches a lot of good things everything is convenient you can buy everything you don't have to wait in line too much for everything if you have an appointment to get it right away, you can make money here you speak nicely and everything but that's it. It's not that great it's very cold and the people are cold most of them. You can lose your mind here. A lot of people were born in America also are saying the same thing.
I would hope, but not really cause if at crime in Jamaica is young ppl doing most of it.. so if they were getting smarter come on they know that crime Jamaica would open up to more foreign investment and we know what that can do for Jamaica, so u can't say young gen is getting smarter but u can say some of thing probably 1% .. I am Jamaican and can tell you ..
IF JAMAICAN WORK HALF AS IN JAMAICA AS THEY WORK IN THESE FOREIGN LANDS, JAMAICAN WILL ABSOLUTELY MAKE IT IN JAMAICA, ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE THEIR OWN BUSINESSES IN JAMAICA.
They are doing it now in Jamaica. The young people have a day job, drive Uber on their days off and work as private contractors for overseas companies and get paid in foreign money. Young people there are doing the hustle there with no stress.

Meanwhile the statistics of business people in Jamaica dying or even wealthy Jamaicans dying is low. That shows you are just speculating. Let me rephrase that for you, Jamaica like anywhere else is one of the easiest places to be unalive and robbed if you get involved in shady business or doesnt protect yourself.
It's not the food; you get to be your authentic self, not on PRETENTIOUS 24X7. The most posh corporate environment turns you into a ticking time bomb 💣
Jamaica is a wonderful place but I couldn't go back there to live, forget about the crime, there is crime everywhere but you see the health care system there, that's the biggest reason I couldn't go back there to live.

Fortunately he has an excellent uk pension from 35years working here so was able to go private in New Kingston within three days. Imagine having no funds😢😢😢😢😢.. people often don't think of these things that are crucial
There are two types of healthcare in Jamaica; You have world class private health care that cost and public healthcare thats free. If you were to return to Jamaica, why would you want to use the public healthcare? Why not use the private one like you are using now and paying for in the country you now live?
😂😂why do I hear Naro commenting back to these clips “Uno need fi stay ah foreign! Don’t come back!” 🤣🤣🤣 In seriousness. I can relate. My message: IF possible, make the move!
They know it's not easy, based on the video. Mental and emotional well-being is the main reason, as there is a calmer and less of a rat race environment.
Jamaica is easy for us who left because we know how to put up with the couple things. Young people in Jamaica are doing well. They work a regular job, drive for uber and work as private contractors for USA companies.
Jamaica can be easy, especially for people who create opportunities instead of depending on opportunities to fall in their hands. While you benefit from the opportunities created by other countries for their citizens who built their country, Jamaicans in Jamaica are building Jamaica to benefit from it too. I hope you dont return when you think Jamaica gets easier.
Come on now , I’m Jamaican born and I love ❤️ Jamaica with my heart and soul but there’s a but and the but is I’m not going to bite the hands that feed me and that hand is AMERICA . America has opened the doors of opportunity for me and my children opportunities that are not available to many people especially the poorer class also wether you want to admit it or not unlike AMERICA 🇺🇸 with racism Jamaica is separated by classism this uptown looks down on the people downtown and if you live in a certain area no one wants to higher you due to the fact they will jump to the conclusion that you’re a criminal . To most people it’s best to live in Jamaica why ? Because they can thief light . Water and piece of land or even property and call it their own without showing how they come by it and this is just to name a few in the USA you have to work to pay your bills ,no thieving of lights ,water or house/ property . If you live in AMERICA legally and have ambition you can excel in your life the sky is the limit , of course life has its ups and downs here but there is a but lots of young people don’t want to live in AMERICA and be responsible but they would want to you to send them your hard earned money 💰 money that you have to work hard for in rain snow and sleet I’m not going to bite the hand that feeds me hell no . The race is not for the swift but it’s for those who can endure to the end and let me repeat this I do love ❤️ Jamaica with all my heart ❤️ but there is a but
Classism exist in America as well along with several other isms that Jamaicans in Jamaica have never experienced. You also work to pay your bills in Jamaica and can have even a better standard of life than you would have in America. Listen, nothing is wrong in loving where you are now, especially if you were from a lower class family who had it hard and now see a glimpse of hope after migrating. Maybe Jamaica just isnt for you and that is fine. If thats the case though, why are you under this video commenting negatively about Jamaica? If i were so happy about living in America and everything American i wouldnt even be watching this video. Unless no matter how much you claim you love America you still dont feel as if its your home and still need a sense of belongingness. Jamaica is my place and i will build it before anywhere else. I will also make sure my children have the honor of being born Jamaican. Dont bite the hand that feed you, but you also dont curse the womb that birth you.
@ if you don’t like my opinion of which I’m more than entitled to ,then keep stepping because neither you are anyone else is going to prevent me from doing so and by the way when has the truth become bad I said it once and I’m going to say it again I will never bite the hand that fed me and why do the so called upper and middle class people come to America if everything is so great for them in Jamaica do they go to KPH for treatment or do they catch the first flight out to MIAMI for treatment ? why dose politicians in Jamaica dose the same thing ? Why do you crave the USD so much I’m a proud hardworking JAMAICAN and also a proud citizen of this country AMERICA 🇺🇸 this country has open so many doors for me if you feel like I’m bashing JAMAICA because I’m speaking from experience then hush 🤫 go take a chill pill 💊
@ and by the way tell the government in Jamaica to free up the beaches and see to it the people who own the hotels stop paying the people them slave wages . Jamaica 🇯🇲 I love you gir but it is what it is and as soon as as things get better as far as crime is concern I will be retiring and come see you and please don’t even tell me crime is everywhere a Jamaican mi a chat bout AMERICA large Jamaica is just a dot on the map kmt
It's true, moving away from the family bonds and ending up split apart across the US without help must be so exhausting. It would be a beautiful thing if we could form a community of Jamaican immigrants to support each other, whether through mutual aid, link ups, having a roommate etc. We all need someone to lean on during these turbulent times. What beats our ppl each time is the crab inna barrel mentality. I wish to move beyond this and hopefully back home retired sooner than later.
Girl girl girl I am watching you for Bronx new York you not telling no lie😮😅😅😊😊😮😮😮😮😮😅😅😅😊😊 no wa no better than yard true talk come to work you have to take care of the money like how you take care of yourself big up
Jamaican finding it hard overseas to pay rent, here in New York 1bedroom old broke down apartment in Bronx $950 US per month, doing 2 jobs just mashing up mi body fi pay bills there. No way nice like YARD. Every Jamaican needs to travel to fully appreciate the beauty and niceness of YARD.
Other side of the coin. JA Persons in usa canada or uk that gained education and very gainful employment live financially comfortable. I have many relatives JA born that live in us...uk...canada.. in own homes with very good financial standing. My auntie in Canada some 38years living life good with regular international travel.
Jamaica has become way more expensive in just the time covid came and went. The usd-jmd has not dropped below 150 so keep that in mind. The government has now applied various taxes to even micro businesses here so those saying just start a business don't really understand. I love my country but you need money coming in to enjoy living here comfortably I'm not talking about lavish living either just simple enjoyment. 1 beef Patty is now $320 coming from $250 just to put things in perspective. Hustling is what persons are really doing now to live a somewhat comfortable life.
$320 is about $2.24 which isnt a lot for people who owns business and are collecting in American prices as many business owners are doing. Tax in Jamaica is still not a lot compare to America or most places.
My two young children are keeping me in America. I’m over the rat race, stressful lifestyle. I hate the food!!! I don’t even eat a lot because I’m paranoid about the food. Plus I find America very boring, and I’m over the weather. I only like my job and my pay. That’s it.
Everyone has to work for their living and avoid being a free loader. In the past most people who immigrated USA, CANADA or the UK had more than one job. They worked their fingers to the bones in order to save, buy their own homes and support their family back home. 'Defer your gratification' is my motto.
I don’t know wa me did do when mi did come here should’ve tell me ppl no bada file fi me and just bbc send my money and thing year time mi soon gone too
Inflation is high everywhere and if you do the analysis,it’s less expensive to live in Jamaica. You can’t put a price on your health. That why more Jamaicans are moving back home, even non Jamaican.Peace of mind is priceless.
Me a saggling up me self my home if 80% completed just some finishing up touches an it done but all furnished out everything ship from the UK it's hard over here all me an my husband do is WOK FROM MARNIN TIL DUSTDAWN NO ENJOYMENT ONLY VISIT JAMAICA ON HOLIDAY WHO WANT DAT WELL WE ALL SAYS IF DE PICKINIS DEM WAH COME DEM COME BUT ME AN MI HUSBAND SAYING 29 YEARS IN DE UK A FULL PULL UP TIME AN YES IT IS WELL WE NOVSICK OR NOTHING SO THATS ALL GOOD BUT MAMMER MI WAH GO EAT MI FRESH FRUIT ENJOY MI LIFE WE NO TROUBLE NO BADDIE DUNG DEY SO WE NO GOT BOTH TO WORRY ABOUT AND WE GOT OUR OWN PROPERTY
If you came to live in America in fantasy, then the reality is you will be very unhappy. I live in America and for some reason I never suffer from the things other people talks about. Because I think I live a very realistic life. Please UA-cam and listen to Earl Nightingale and Warren Buffett. If you take charge of your money and health you will be very happy any and everywhere.
Jamaica is still in the islands of South America right? It's not anywhere near Africa. To get to JA from Africa is a very long flight. From Down south to Jamaica is about a 20 minute flight. I could be wrong but I'm sure that's what I saw on the map.
Statistics and data is very crucial to fully understand. Crime (murders) is presented per 100 000 people of all nations represented in the data. Ja has one of the very highest in the world based on a less than 3 million population. The data is very easy to find - year on year.
@@keys6 A specific type of crime is high in Jamaica which is mostly accounted for gang activites, not all kind. To say Jamaica is one of the most dangerous places would be incorrect when you are twice as likely to be attacked in the USA and other places, however you are also twice as likely to survive these attacks. When you survive it is otherwise ranked as a different type of crime which is high in other places, but isnt in Jamaica.
No recession when you have a job and keep education and skills training upgraded so you can make more moneyand notbwork 2 jobs instead you can go back to Jamaica and enter the workforce and train others too??? Plenty school or training online , no excuses!

If you were to return to Jamaica, why would you want to use the public healthcare? Why not use the private one like you are using now and paying for in the country you now live?
America was good in 90s but things change for the worst an not for the good
Exactly!😂🤯
Talk truth!!!! 100%
Thank you 🙏
Jamaican born but living in US I’m working 56 hours a week in healthcare. Lol I’m stressed but humble and thankful
Some lazy people wouldn't want to work half your hours and want to be spoon fed.
I'm on the return list
I like your voice.
Thank you 🙏
😂😂why do I hear Naro commenting back to these clips “Uno need fi stay ah foreign! Don’t come back!” 🤣🤣🤣
In seriousness. I can relate. My message: IF possible, make the move!
Dem feel say Jamaica easy. Ppl need to learn to make the best of anywhere you are
They know it's not easy, based on the video.
I would move back too but i have no more family there 🌟
"Wherever you go there you are..."
The race is not for the swift but it’s for those who can endure to the end and let me repeat this I do love ❤️ Jamaica with all my heart ❤️ but there is a but
That's your experience.
I think Jamaica won when you migrated
U talking the truth
It's true, moving away from the family bonds and ending up split apart across the US without help must be so exhausting.
It would be a beautiful thing if we could form a community of Jamaican immigrants to support each other, whether through mutual aid, link ups, having a roommate etc. We all need someone to lean on during these turbulent times.
What beats our ppl each time is the crab inna barrel mentality. I wish to move beyond this and hopefully back home retired sooner than later.
One hand cannot clap in America. Opportunities, yes, but no social life.
Exactly that me too everybody I know here is leaving going Africa carribean and Asia
Yet many ppl outside of JA depend or ask of those in US or UK for money many times.
Girl girl girl I am watching you for Bronx new York you not telling no lie😮😅😅😊😊😮😮😮😮😮😅😅😅😊😊 no wa no better than yard true talk come to work you have to take care of the money like how you take care of yourself big up
Big up 💚🖤💛
I make money in Jamaica..build house etc..Jamaica nice
ONCE YOU HAVE
JESUS CHRIST YOU
CAN LIVE ANYWHERE
WITHOUT COMPLAINING

That’s it.
Always the food. Every immigrant across the world complain about it.😂😂😂
I GUARANTEE THAT THERE ARE 10 TIMES AS MANY JAMAICANS TRYING TO LEAVE JAMAICA TO GO TO THE PLACES NAMED IN THE CAPTION! GUARANTTED
True. And I have met them. But they will be in for a shock. Foreign is not an easy place (especially these days).
So true
No one should come to America, England or Canada.Them days of getting any job and paying rent are over.
Because they believe the hype. I guarantee some would feel the same way as these people sharing their experience.
Agree 100%... The vast majority of my cousins left to the US as soon as past teens early twenties.
Everyone has to work for their living and avoid being a free loader. In the past most people who immigrated USA, CANADA or the UK had more than one job. They worked their fingers to the bones in order to save, buy their own homes and support their family back home. 'Defer your gratification' is my motto.
I don’t know wa me did do when mi did come here should’ve tell me ppl no bada file fi me and just bbc send my money and thing year time mi soon gone too
Moving back to Jamaica you better have good money because Jamaica is way overpriced
Inflation is high everywhere and if you do the analysis,it’s less expensive to live in Jamaica. You can’t put a price on your health. That why more Jamaicans are moving back home, even non Jamaican.Peace of mind is priceless.
@@normanfl6592Exactly.
Stop the fear mongering.
My father moved back home💀and just left us here.
That was always the plan. Mine did the same but only when we became adults. He prepared very well and lives good.

If u have something u can go back
Me in Colombia 😭
In between means you're indesisive which as an adult cannot work for long term
If your mindset isn't set a certain type of way, then foreign will not be for you. Go there, make money, and if need be come back home.
1970s was the last of good old days.
Stop talking and come Jamaica Judy!
I love Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲, I must visit for sure
@@ldn876 Nah Jamaica is full up

@@CAROLYNCHANG-k3s not to our black people we are not.
Hustle, or get a DEGREE. Brp Brp!!! ...BTW, it a show how Jamaican girl(s) look GOOD.
Jamaica is still in the islands of South America right? It's not anywhere near Africa. To get to JA from Africa is a very long flight. From Down south to Jamaica is about a 20 minute flight. I could be wrong but I'm sure that's what I saw on the map.
Oh lord....
Crime and violence is every where, America has a lot of crime on to this day. God bless sister.
Blessings 🙏💛🖤💚
America is work on pay bills nothing else stress no happiness.
Do your own why you want family to take your hand
Non of them are leaving America dont be foolish
I think so too but who am I to say otherwise.
Honestly I’m tired of America also
Yes, all that is good, but the mood and attitude down there have to be changed. Some behavior is uncivilized.
No recession when you have a job and keep education and skills training upgraded so you can make more moneyand notbwork 2 jobs instead you can go back to Jamaica and enter the workforce and train others too??? Plenty school or training online , no excuses!
