Great video, Chris! Though I've never been there, you did a great job taking me on a tour. The "Subway" reminds of the place in Iceland you visited with the various nooks and crannies which was built into the side of a mountain. As always, well done and thanks! :)
I live about an hour and forty five minutes from here. My wife and I love it there. We stay at a place just right down the road called The Esmerelda Inn, it is a very nice place and the owners are wonderful people!! Lake Lure Inn is also a nice place to stay. Some of you may or may not know, the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed in Lake Lure!!
Hi Chris, wow that place has a lot of steps, I'm guessing you would need to be pretty fit to go there. I wonder why they haven't bothered to fix the elevator, it seems stupid to me that they would just let it go for that length of time. Some fantastic scenery when you get right to the top, which does make the whole climb worth the effort. Thank you for sharing this awesome location. x
Which of the multiple Chimney Rocks is it? There's one each in Nebraska, North Carolina, Colorado, British Columbia, Washington State, Minnesota, New Jersey, and other places. Okay, so I discovered which one: North Carolina.
Really nice. I appreciate this video as I live near here and always wanted to visit but my wife and I are disabled. Was hoping you'd show were the elevator exits if it was working.
As a 67 yo who's afraid of heights, I must say that I really enjoyed this video. Great job!
I'm 56 an agree, don't do the high thing my knees are knocking just watching the video. Thanks for the time.

Hi !
Nice place, thx for the tour
Amazing views, I would never see if not for your videos. You must be in great shape after all those stairs? It looked much easier going down.

wow people are unoriginal when it comes to naming pointy rocks lol
What kind of gimbal do you use? The footage is crisp and flawless. I really enjoy your videos. Subbed to both.
This was a Gopro set up that I rarely use these days. FEIYU TECH is the stabilizer company. It always worked well

Is not the place where was directed the movie The last of the Mohicans ?
Some of the last scenes where filmed there.
Chris, good video and there are railings! Utube search "1964 Impala commercial".
I would only go there on a day I was supposed to be working, because that your seems like a lot of work.
Awesome Video Chris
🌼🌼🇮🇳🌼🌼
Very beautiful
Spectacular! I love your videos and you must be very fit.
Im 6' 6 would I Fit?
I see the beauty behind the commercialization, but it reminds me too much of Rock City, all touristy hiding the actual wonder.
So Where ???? This not Chimney Rock in Nebraska which has high chimney like tower.
How many steps did you take to get to the top😂😂😂😂
Haha I think there's a sign that tells you but I forgot. It's definitely a work out
1:51 i bet if that rock collapsed on you it could cause cig nif eye kant injuries : (
Wrong Chimney Rock! I thought you were in Nebraska!
Wouldn't want to be in the 'Opera Box' during an earthquake ! can we say {sguish}
I asked my wife to marry me in the Grotto.
To much editing going from one point to another.
