The tailoring is beautiful. I just dislike the slow speed and unflattering low light - these clothes deserve a much better venue, more of a Valentino venue.
nah, it's more magical this way, but it does need a little more light tho
I loved that everything was intentionally slowed down...it was like an anti-fashion statement, against the marching automatons of so many previous seasons. I am GLAD that the pace picked up tho!

Alexander mcqueen put her in a metal grid and walked her down the runway, she also wore for Mr McQueen that black mask with a crucifix on it and she sticks her tounge out( Iconic moment in fashion history) This woman has walked for treacy ,mugler, gallino, guo pei and many more she is from the days of when models were Supermodels

And you think that is a good thing?? This show was so pretentious. Way too complicated for no reason. Just trying to come up with a bunch of costumes to see how crazy one could be, and not in a good way.
I like music that’s just schiaparelli’s spirit...
The clothes were just awesome and to echo another comment I also miss seeing Schiaparelli pink and the beautiful black models are such a welcome sight.

I watched this show when it first debuted. I am back watching it again. I love everything about it. Since this collection, Mr. Daniel Roseberry has taken the House of Schiaparelli to new heights. He is incredible!

Yes, six years ago actually.
It's always funny how these rival houses did not have much in common other than the fact they were led by two marvelous talented women . Schiaparelli laid the foundation of the surrealist fashions that Galliano and mugler built upon and chanel defined timeless and classic time after time with functionality and uniformity.
The music is superb and the models are walking very slowly... Two bonus points right away....The very first model... it reminded me of an old lady with dementia wandering around in her underwear and a jacket... it made me smile for sure... let's see what comes up next... I think some of those models were so embarrassed to wear these clothes they had to put flowing scarves right over their heads and faces... This is one of the most epic fails I have seen in Haute Couture... still the music was great... I LOVED THE DIOR HAUTE COUTURE COLLECTION.... OPPOSITE OF THIS
Nice collection. But 3:50, though... It was a miss for me!
I think that one was more about the neckless itself.... but still it wasn't bad in my opinion, love the transparent mixed with leather

The restrictive headdresses are a strange touch. In a post me too ear where women around the world are simultaneously tearing of blindfolds and wreaking havoc on the injustices present in modern times, its seems strange to enforce ignorance rather than dismantle it. Fashion is not an island and the tone set in what is the highest standard of aspirational fashion needs to reflect this.
It was probably nothing, but a reference to Schiaparelli. Not everything has a political motive behind it.

First show since Valentino SS 2013 I could get by the first 3 looks ; intriguing , creative , daring , elegant with more of a dash of subversion . New deconstruction ; LESS Margiela IS MORE . Just so refreshing !!

Shame... Schiaparelli is not just being eccentric and making schizophrenic looks. I didn't like it and I preferred the old designer!! Few looks save in this show!
Thank you Gerald. A voice of reason. Reading some of these comments, you would think that no one has any taste, or common sense. I like creativity, but this was pretentious. Not a suit to be seen.
The white sculptural gown is so Christian Siriano Project Runway challenge vibe, but yes - a better version. Overall, it’s a dated mess sprinkled by chaos. Too camp for Schiaparelli
But Schiaparelli IS camp.
THAT Christian Siriano gown was what won me over about him. Rivals haute couture gowns from more established brands. it’s a shame he hasn’t shown anything remotely as artistic in his full collections.

the cloting are too simple. there are multiple fabric mistakes and cut problems. Most of them has lot of details concentrated in one place and nothing at all in other place. There is no link between the looks and many of the look are too similar.
