I think I will always be more drawn to the original style dolls. The one plus to the new design I'll give them is the different body types. But what happened to Ghoulia Yelps? She was part of the friend group and she's kind of been written out of everything.
I have seen the G3 Ghoulia on UA-cam 🤩 so she will be joining the crew

I wish they had re-launched MH as Monster High U - college dolls and then brought out the new ‘youthful’ looking dolls as MH high school siblings. Half of parents would probably buy both and they know collectors need them all.
I guess I can just be grateful that Mattel is still making the OGs. Now hopefully can get them before scalpers get their 👿 off hands on them.

Love the dolls, I saw two that I may purchase. Clawdine and Lagoona Blue.
I'm planning on making displays out of the boxes themselves. I love the look of the boxes so I just need to remove the clear plastic. I also think those velcro command things cud be used to mount the box directly to a wall. Add some colored tea lights inside depending on how high the lip is to hide them to look like spotlights.

The stands are ingenious, and I love the little storage bins at the bottom. I also love how the greyscale dolls match the creeproductions exactly. It makes a very cool display when you have both!

monster high did it first, almost 10 years before shadow high! sdcc 2010 frankie was greyscale and so was 2012 skull shores frankie! ^_^

I STILL think Lagoona looks better in blue-green/pale blue grey skin color and not pink in the new generation. It makes her look almost too human. Plus, Draculaura has pink skin herself, so what was the point of changing Lagoona's skin color in the first place?
Also, I think after the release of the OG Monster High dolls, fans are PROBABLY gonna want more...But that's just my theory.

I was the most excited for these new Monster High Reel Drama dolls. But they are nowhere to be found. They sold out in minutes at the Mattel Creations website. And they are not on Amazon, Walmarts or Target. Unfortunately I am almost ready to give up. Seriously, what is Mattel strategy here?

I mean it's obvious that they still can do the og style idk why they bother with the new ones since they know how much everyone loves the og. If they want to be exclusive why not add new characters instead of changing the new. Imo the new ones look very cheap and childish (even though I know they are meant for kids xd)
Seems gray scale is the new thing. but at least they are the original sculpt .. Not a fan of the Gen 3 dolls .. I will be buying the grey scale Frankie,, the Gen 3 Frankie not so much ,, Great displays !!!
So unfair that Anywhere outside of the USA and Canada is being left in the dark when it comes to new doll releases. Creeproduction dolls have been outside for months, still no signs of those in Irish shops. It’s so unfair that our only option to buying the new dolls is to buy online and pay crazy custom costs!
I'm so disappointed it's not selling in Europe...
