I have not rode a bike for a long time, then tried riding a hardtail, with the suspension in the front it feels weird, so I returned it to the shop. I will be buying rigid probably a marin dsx1. I just remember riding a bicycle back then we don’t know about suspensions. We just have fun.
Thank you. Intrigued by these bikes for sure. I recently threw a Ritchey Kyote bar (27 degree sweep) and 2.8s on my Surly Bridge Club and was amazed at it's versatility and off road performance. I was trying to emulate a Jones bike but I still need to ride one of the bikes soon.
I have an older steel Spaceframe (pre 29 plus rear) and also a Salsa Beargrease Fat bike. I agree with you that the Fat Bike with a 4.8 front tire smooths out the rough and rocky trails better than the Spaceframe with a 3.25 up front, but the Jones still remains lighter and more versatile everywhere else.
Many thanks for the informative video. When riding downhill on your Jones in the bike park, did you lower your seatpost? Generally, don't you miss a dropper post on your Jones?
Watched this from the ER after crashing my Jones.
Don't worry, the bike's OK!
rider with wisdom!! Much more important in this world!!!
My Dream Bike 👍🏼

Hey would you have any interest in selling your Jones bike? I am looking for one of these in a size medium. Thanks.
... Would it be OK or a really bad idea to stuff luggage into the upper part of the fork?
Jones sells custom bags specifically designed for the Jones Truss Fork.
nice clip 👌
What’s the weight of your steel lwb?
About 33-34 pounds
Those trails look like a worn out Nevada working girl, very tired, filthy and spent.
i did big sky montana on a redline monocog ... lol.. do not reccomend
