Thats awesome to hear! I hope you have a blast there and enjoying your new home. All is well here. Thank you, I'm trying to decide how and what I want to return with. Just haven't decided yet.
Hiw big is the track you were showing. Length and over all width of track and how wide are the lanes. If you could please, I am trying to make a track in my basement.
Rod and Tami Evens I'm honestly not 100% as I've never measured. But I do know that the track is the RCP foam track that comes in squares of either 12" or 20" squares. I think these are the 20" squares but could be wrong. If indeed the case the track is roughly 17.5 feet long by 10.5 feet wide with around 5 feet of lanes.
I've seen a few mini-z. I know some were very scale and others were not. But I never actually owned a Mini-Z so I couldn't really give a fair or honest comparison on that. But I have heard others make the comparison.
Hey Matthew. As far as upstate South Carolina is concerned we have indoor 1rc tracks at Fountain Inn and Easley SC as well as 1/10 dirt oval tracks located in Spartanburg (indoor), Fountain Inn & Easley (outdoor). All tracks have a Facebook page you can visit which gives the address and race schedules! I don't know off the top of my head or I'd post for you here. But can find them on their pages. Thanks for checking out JBTrickleRC.

@@jbtricklerc I've been thinking about getting me one as well. The late model has pretty much made me want one bad lol. They really did do a great job on the realistic looks of these.
Sure, it could be done. I've heard of them being raced on dirt and it was even discussed doing that locally at one point. The key/hard part will be making the track smooth. This will likely be harder on a smaller scale finding something to help roll it and smooth it. While these cars do have "scale working suspension" they are so small they are limited.
Love 1/18th Rc! They're not as expensive compared to bigger scales, they drive really good out of the box and they can be driven everywhere (as long as the surface is flat)! I hope this scale becomes more popular in racing again! I wasn't doing RC in the early 2000s but I heard it was popular back then!
Madthunder2 its growing for sure. very popular especially during the "off season" during winter months and I know some tracks are running them year around as well.
@@jbtricklerc that's a good that it's coming back! Near me their little more traditional so they use the bigger scales but I did find a group that races mini z (different scale I know but I still have the same opinion on those cars)! But this is a good way to get more people into RC, especially Kids! It's also good for veterans because it's fun to drive! We just got to push it a little bit harder everywhere else!
Electric Caveman I do believe various hobby shops sell these. So if one website didn't offer shipping give another a try. But I'd also reach out to 1RC directly. They may be able to help with that.
@@jbtricklerc...me and some friends have been running 1/24 Losi desert trucks for a few years now and having some fun with them..we like the sprint and midgets cars. Cheers from northern Alberta Canada.
@@Dracoool Thats awesome! Been thinking about picking up a 1/24 scale losi or associated for a bit now. maybe build a small take down indoor track for the kids and myself for those rainy days. Glad to you your friends are enjoying some RC adventures and thank you for the support on the channel.
BC that's a great question. I'm honestly not 100% sure. I can't remember if the tiles are 12" or 14" squares. But I do know the track has been enlarged since this video.
Chris Davis, I'm honestly not 100% as I've never measured. Plus they have since increased the size of the track. I do know that the track is the RCP foam track that comes in squares of either 12" or 20" squares. I think these are the 20" squares but could be wrong. Y'all really need a bigger track to enjoy the latemodels to their full potential. We have been touching 3.5 seconds on an 1:10 scale track with an 80ft run line. On your track when one person crashes there is no place to go but to run right into them.
Thanks for the input Donald. We have a few 1RC tracks near us. All different size and shapes so it makes for some fun and different racing at each track. I plan to try and cover a race from the 4 tracks nearest to me if I can make it out to them before outdoor season starts back. They did extend the track seen in this video as well since uploaded but it's a fun lil bullring track.
Baymobb they pretty much do as well. There's 1/8 scale nitro cars available. Some converted to electric and the Traxxas Slash is pretty much and 1/8 scale as well. Even though they call it a 1/10 SCT truck 1/10 bodies are way too small. Have to use 1/8 scale car bodies on them.
Ya,i have a couple 1/8 losi l8ight models,i call them my unicorns bcuz theyre very hard 2 find due to losi stopping production on them,i have a couple nitros&2 or 3 brushless conversions,i wish they would bring them back,i guess they would maybe consider if oval racing started booming again,i live in northen cali&oval racing isnt that big out here ,we have more dirt tracks or carpet tracks out here&its mainly sct or 2wd buggy class,i think out in antioch they still race 1/10 nitro sprints on a dirt/clay track but ive never been out there.
I think it would be really cool if they had 1/18 nitro mini sprints,i know me personally would go nuts over a mini nitro late model or edm, maybe someday, these new gen kids need 2 learn how to be more patient&learn how to tune nitros!
@@baymobbrcclub7426 It always interests me to hear what is popular in different areas. Its cool to see what is racing. also so cool to see how different the dirt is in different areas as well.
This track needs to be reworked turns they are way too narrow they don't have much room at all that's why the cars keep smacking the walks because of the line they gave to take in those tiny narrow turns
Southpaw this was a early revision of the track. It has since been reworked. Widened and lengthened. Due to that and scoring loop issues. I'm probably going to cover another race from here this winter as well with the updated layout.
Just ordered a couple late models can't wait to get them!
Awesome C Wilson! I'm sure you'll have a blast with them!
I finally got one of these for such small cars these drive really well
They are very cool! My favorite part is how they are actually scaled down versions of the real things.
These are awesome, especially the Late Models.
Been looking for running videos of the Late Models, and haven't seen much. Thanks for posting this.

What lap counting system are they using at this track?
Hey Jerald. It's the MyLaps system I believe.
