My father would be proud of this game... Me and him used to play a lot gran turismo 4, unfortunatly he passed away almost 2 years ago, and yesterday 13th September was his birthday. He loved the game so much that he even created a list of all cars in the game, he printted that list and used a marker to scratch the cars he gained..
It was nights of racing till 6am, mom used to get mad because of me staying up late, my dad would laugh. I miss this life, can't wait to see people play gt7, because seeing people play is as close i can get to playing it. This will be forever my favorite game, as well as my father's.

I’d love to see Gran Turismo with free roam areas, maybe even if we didn’t get big areas we could get point to point along non racetrack roads, like the highway tracks in Project Cars even if they were just as small additions (hopefully a little larger) as that version of the Nurburgring track in Assetto Corsa where you have access to just a little more than the track itself, the car park and entryway, would still make the tracks feel like open environments without actually being open, something the Top Gear track always lacked in GT & Forza, the boundaries being pushed back so we can just hoon about a bit inbetween serious racing, or drive a normal road, or drift different lines.
But i’d love to just see custom grids finally implemented, I want to put fantasy liveries on custom car builds and race the various awesome grids you could create.

I think they will bring back gt6 features as humidity tracks, temperature track, dynamic meteo, day night cycle, engine brake/wear etc.
I just hope they implement a kind of duo mode for the online races or a online season so that you can join ranked races at least with 1 friend.

Nice! That's what I was hoping for too... I want to soup up an 80s - 90s POS like the old Gran Turismos! I'm hoping there's a LOT more single player in this one. I really don't like the online racing, but it's cool to have.

Yeah tbh PS4 and Xbox One are the limit of graphics along with PS5 and Xbox X. But they both look the same to me.
@@eljefe797 you're also forgetting the screen you play on makes a huge difference, it's not all down to the console, I game on a full hd gaming monitor which looks great, but I also game on a 50inch curved gaming tv and the graphics sometimes make me feel I'm inside the game

When Gran Turismo Sport was announced I was excited. But this, this is the real Gran Turismo 7 that we fans have been waiting for. I’m mega excited. That Porsche Le Man though, 917K. Day one for me.

Gran Turismo games are the kind of games no one will truly get bored of. Even today I still grind on GT5 on ps3

i play it almost everyday not a single scratch on the disc, but dad reformatted the ps3. I earned over 4mil creds there last car i got was the ferrari f40
now i play gt6 which is not bad considering it has more cars, tho it wasnt as fun and relaxing to play as gt5

Sounds were worse, the graphics in some cases were worse, couldnt turn Fuel/Tyre Wear and Damage on in arcade races, and the career mode was a lot shorter than GT5.
Longest endurance race in GT6 is only 24 minutes, where GT5, GT4, GT3 and GT2 had 24 hour races.
GT5 is easily one of those games where you technically never run out of things to do

You know, it might not have been THIS disappointing if they announced it right from the beginning. I mean, something felt off watching this trailer. Like it was captured on PS4 Pro and not on PS5. Like its a DLC of GT Sport. But to keep us waiting another year to come clean? And now likely another 7-12 months to finally release it? Just heartbreaking.

There is nothing like Race modding a used car and making it a beautiful beast. That should return in GT7, since I never really had a chance to do race mods in the earlier games besides 5 (and the only Race mod car I have is the Corvette Z06 in that game)

It probably will be. The graphics and game engine seem to be taken from GT Sport, but now they're going to refine both. So, I reckon the car count will be higher than GT Sport's right now. I expect 100 more cars probably, depending on when GT7 is released.

This trailer makes the gran turismo sport look like a gran turismo 7 prologue.
I mean, you're not really wrong.
It was kinda hinted at when sport was launched - they talked about it as a way to rebuild GT from the ground up (track surfaces, interiors, tire models, etc.) so they would have a new foundation for GT7 to be built on

@@RagingUtai ray traced reflections and 4k image doesn't add much to the game, especially when the car and track assets look straight out of GTSport PS4. There are highly requested gameplay features that affects the whole game like dynamic time of day transitions. Kaz said this regarding no dynamic time transition for GTSport: “We opted to not have the transitions in the race this time in order to raise the framerate and the quality of the image during the race." GT7 PS4 will no doubt hold back a true next-gen only GT game. They are not going to make separate games with different gameplay experiences between PS4 and PS5 players.

@@RagingUtai There will be crossplay between both consoles, anything else doesn't make sense. Means, you cannot race with dynamic time/weather. Either way, any time and resources spent on PS4 is wasted time IMO. This was announced as PS5 exclusive.
The driver's hand in this trailer probably has as many polygons as an entire car in gran Turismo 4

@@beesmongeese2978 it's the material texture. If the gloves were leather or black it'll look nice with the lightning. This white wooly texture doesn't really match with the lighting as it's usually a bit brighter than other objects in the scene.

Delayed to 2022 due to COVID related production issues...What a shame.
This makes me really wonder though, since Jim Ryan announced they're bringing more PS games to PC, if GT7 will ever see a PC release, and might have been pushed back for that reason too...That's entirely possible now
They wait untill there are enough PS5's in the field to release GT7. This game can be the single reason to get a PS5. They will put it into the bundle for sale as a unique selling point.

What does "Used cars" mean ? It's like brand central but second hand car ?
@@KERIM0VIC yep its like in gt4, can buy older cars pretty cheap, then do oil changes etc bring them back to life...cars like a honda eg hatch, silvias etc that aren't available in brand central 😁

@@_.neero24 indeed, the return of the tuning shop is pretty exciting too, actually change the sound & look of your exhaust, choose turbo size etc, hopefully turbo or supercharge naturally aspirated cars like the older games 🙂

Honestly when I saw the menu i started crying. Crying because of old vibes I get when I was younger spending all day playing GT5 in the summer hollidays... those day where the most fun time I had whith a Gran Turismo franchise title.
