CANiK, one of the 3 companies in the world that can produce 30x113 millimeter cannons after the USA and France, has risen to an advantageous position in line with the strategy it has created.
With Samsun Yurt Defense's acquisition of the British company AEI Systems in 2022, CANiK became one of the first three companies in the world to produce medium-caliber artillery after the American Northrop Grumman and the French Nexter. With this strategic acquisition, CANiK made a significant leap forward by adding medium caliber to its position as a light weapons producer.
Using 30x113 millimeter ammunition, VENOM LR stands out with less recoil compared to other guns using 30 millimeter ammunition.
VENOM LR can be easily integrated into both lightweight and compact turret systems and remote-controlled or crew-operated weapon stations.
Thanks to its 30 millimeter bullets compatible with new ammunition systems and technologies, it provides the firepower needed especially against air and seaborne drones, lightly armored/unarmored targets and enemy troops behind cover.
CANiK has signed several contracts for the low-recoil 30x113 millimeter automatic medium caliber gun VENOM LR. The first deliveries under these contracts will be made in August.
The importance of VENOM LR comes from its potential to increase the competitiveness of the Turkish defense industry in the international arena. The first deliveries in August will show how effective this weapon system will be in field use. Especially its modular structure and multi-purpose use make it an attractive option in the international market. This weapon system will contribute to Turkey opening new markets in defense exports and increasing its existing market share. In addition, it is considered as a strategic step towards strengthening domestic production capacity and reducing foreign dependency.

Bu satın alma pazara giriş için şirkete önemli avantajlar kazandırdı. Bu durum özellikle ihracat performansıyla kendisini gösterecektir.
