Rest in peace.
You can tell he was always wearing a wristwatch.
RIP indeed, I wasn't aware he died years ago until watching this video. I used to watch a lot of Myth Busters episodes that included a lot of his work alongside his co-hosts. It's sad to know his passing, we at least can view the legacy he left behind thru his works on MB and other movies/tv shows.
It's why you need to watch cross-examine. Life just too short.
He seemed like such a kind, happy, and charismatic person.
I can't believe he's gone. This is the first time I heard that he died. I grew up watching him, and he was one of my favorite mythbusters.
I strongly recommend you watch the tour of his workspace with Adam, it hurts to watch, but it's a must.
@@Fiendishfool I definitely will.
@@Tanoos711 its a huge gut punch, but it inspired me to do more with my life, for people like Grant
honestly, did not know Mr Imahara had passed, RIP.
I didn’t know either!! I’m sad now.
Same
Same here!
Me neither
Same here 😢
I've had a brain aneurism.... scariest thing that has ever happened to me. It has taken me 6 years to regain 75 % of my former capabilities. RIP Grant
You could tell he loved his job so much. Take care of yourself.
I have one on my right MCA I’m cool as a cucumber with a five pound weight limit since 2018(was 39)
Be well.
Wow, amazing you survived. My mom had one. She wasn't so lucky though. Rip mom.
My friend died of one after getting the coofid shot. But we arent allowed to mention that. Have been banned from facebook for misinformation, because the shot is safe. No consequences.
Grant was such an awesome person. Rest in peace Grant. You've earned it
Had the absolute pleasure of meeting him in a bar in SF. Had a lighting guy with him so I got some great selfies.
He was kind, generous, humble and a great guy.
RIP, brother.
He was awesome! As busy as he was, Grant took his valuable time to help me out with a project. We should all be more like him, Rest In Peace Grant! 😔💛🙏
I worked with him when we did the leather cannon for mythbusters. He was so personable, and my kind of nerd! I was so sad to hear about his passing.
By looking at this man I can tell he was a kind soul. Thats a person I would have loved to hang out with. RIP.
RIP Imahara. Thank you for sharing your talents.
So sad. He seemed like a great guy.
This is really sad, I did not know that Grant had passed, terrible loss for all of us, He could have done so much more.

I love Myth Busters. Rest easy Grant.
Rip man we have and will never forget u as long as we live ❤ Thankyou for entertaining us with your brilliance and for being you
It was sad when he passed away, I really had a lot of respect for him and kinda looked up to him, being Asian and so successful was such a great inspiration, he was my favorite in Myth busters besides Adam
his race has nothing to do with it. Try to see people as individuals and their achievements not borne out by their race but by their own individual efforts, decisions.
@Valmoorer for us it did and does still matter his race because there just isn't many Asian representation in American media. So when we do see one it is inspiring.
@@ValmoorerOnly members of the majority ethnic group have the privilege of being seen as individuals. Every other group has to contend with their race being the first thing people see.
He seemed like such a good guy.
A talent that has left many great memories behind.
Loved him as Sulu in Star Trek Continues. Didn't know that he was a gifted engineer, and robotics builder. Gone too soon. RIP.

Gone way too soon RIP Grant
He was so young. :(. Rest in peace.
I remember hearing of how he passed and thinking that it's the saddest and most ironic tragedy that the greatest tool Grant had, seemingly randomly attacked him and caused his early death. This was one of those deaths that really hit different!
Always loved grant and the stuff that he helped to bring to life beautiful😊
I think everyone was shocked at Grant Imahara's sudden passing. He seemed like a really nice guy. Not only was he bright; he liked sharing his knowledge and skills. The robot he made for Craig Ferguson was a hoot!
Grant was a really cool, chill dude...met him while taking electrical engineering classes at USC...his passing was a shock...so young...RIP my brutha ✌️

Grant Imahara was truly a genius and an inspiration.
Grant was also in Star Trek Continues, which was filmed at Neutral Zone Studios.
He was a vital part of the cast! The show was ok the last season, but I like many was so happy to have the special will all the crew reminiscing about all the shows great moments and memories. It's one of my favorite shows ever shown on TV.
Wow, thank you for sharing, he was one of favorites
I miss Grant. He's really awesome.
Very sad. My Uncle died the same way, this was along time ago, he was complaining about headaches, the doctor said if he would have went right away at the onset they could have saved him... RIP to Grant and my Uncle Terry.
Wait what? 2020? I’m so very shocked. R.i.P Grant.
I love the Mythbusters. I wish they were still on TV
I always loved his presentations and personality . RIP. ❤
This was someone who’s just as old as my dad and honestly a part of me died when he did. Mythbusters was the very reason I’m an engineer today and it all started with a bunch of guys do cool experiments for learning. I think I watched a bunch of Mythbusters episodes after news of his passing broke out, and with lockdowns at that time it sure was a great, albeit somber choice.
I feel bad that I had no idea he passed away and it was 5yrs ago.
Rest in peace, mr. Imahara. He seemed like such a nice guy.
Cool guy his show have touch many people heart positively, hope you win all your duels in the afterlife
A tragic loss--I met him a few times and he was always super nice.
So many people have died from 2019 to 2023. This not by accident

A true and honest soul.... a lovely grown-up kid... 😢😢
I saw him and took a picture with him at a tech conference in San Jose, CA.
This news hit me like a punch in the guts. Why do the brightest stars always have to burn the fastest? 😞
Such a good man salute to him it’s sad how sometimes such bright lights fade early
A brilliant guy who was taken too soon. Rest in Peace Grant Imahara.
2020 was a year I wouldn't mind erasing from my memory. R.I.P., Grant.
Enjoyed his appearances his passing is a loss! I am going to stream some myth busters to remember!
This happened to my step-father. He was home cleaning when he had a major headache and stumbled down the stairs, managed to call an ambulance, and was rushed off. He had a brief period of lucidity before he went in for emergency surgery but never regained consciousness again. They ultimately chose to pull the plug some months later when no brain activity returned.
I remember hearing when he died. being a longtime fan of Mythbusters, I was shocked. Him and the rest of the Build Team were as much a pleasure to watch as Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman were.
He was positive Asian male representation.
Rest in peace, Grant.
I was so surprised when I heard about his passing a few years ago. I always Liked watching him on MythBusters. I was told he had a great sense of humor and A great smile
