Seems like this has been coming for longer than I really knew about. It clearly needed to be done. However, god help Michigan if they hire a white coach.

Don’t know how he lasted as long as he did. Once he started playing with his own recruits and developing them, he got his ass handed to him. Not to mention acting like a complete ass away from the court
I love Juwaan as a player and think he might make a good NBA coach. He tried to recruit the one and dones and they left after their freshman and sophmore years. He tried to plug the holes with transfers but he created an environment that did not keep players around. Michigan needs to fix their shortcomings with NIL and they need someone that is an excellent recruiter while creating a culture that makes players want to stick around. Juwaan was interviewed by a black reporter and she of course played the victim race card that he was on the hotseat because he is black. Michigan has an asian president, hispanic AD, black football coach and black basketball coach. Does that sound like racism is the reason he was fired? He stated that him being black would be the reason he was on the hot seat. He was fired because he punched another coach, went 8-24 and could no longer recruit to a program that is currently dead last in the conference. Michigan needs a restart and they need to get the best coach regardless of skin color. Then Warde needs to stop being an NIL obstacle and open the piggy bank for both football and basketball.
