- Back in 2018, when we first started the show, a colleague told us that our show reminded him of Danny Kanell. Well, it's been a long time coming, but we now have Kanell on the show as a special guest!
Kanell describes what it was like witnessing Michigan football's 2023 championship and we discuss his alma mater, Florida State, being snubbed -- as well as Michigan's reaction during the College Football Playoff selection show. Then we talk about the outlook of the Wolverines in 2024 and where the maize and blue should be given the roster and coaching turnover. Finally, Kanell shares more about why Michigan was No. 2 in his recruitment and his memories of visiting The Big House back in the day.
After that, we get a little into recruiting as it appears that the maize and blue are poised for a big-time commitment. Who and why it's a huge deal for the Wolverines.

What a beautiful job by Danny explaining the Florida State situation.
As a Michigan fan I was selfishly hoping for FSU to be #4 because I thought they were an easier path than Bama without Travis playing QB.
But it’s bigger than that - to go undefeated, be PERFECT, yet still not be given the chance to be a champion is sickening. Really wish the 12 team playoff had started last season. It would’ve been the best playoff ever with so many great teams left out of the top 4.

the best part about brady hart's commit was that he got the offer from duh osu yesterday - and committed to us - but not before announcing the duh osu offer on X including a pic of last season's departed starting QB mccord being pressured in his own end zone by the michigan defense in a LOSS. like: "i just got offered by a place that had their starting QB enter the portal basically because he didn't beat michigan. guess where *i'm* going."
"you don't want Bama" and "they scared cuz they know Bama finna humble they behind" comments were EVERYWHERE after that video came out.
And how satisfying when we saw that arrogant portion of bama fans humbled instead.

7:00 of the video...I respect Danny Kanel, but it wasn't a quirky that FSU got left out, it was espn and them not wanting their main property namely the sec to be left out and in extension they would be left out! Espn needs to go away period!

Are they going to strip Michigan’s wins for the sign stealing in 2023 before the new season. Maybe since they are a one and done they will go ahead and do before the season starts. This way as they are not going to have anything to be let down from this season.
