Hi Ann, I have a few ashton drake dolls, my first baby doll was 'welcome home baby Emily' I got her 20 years ago and I still have her - though I was disappointed at first - your one has the same face as mine but mine has glued on hair ( still there) your Emily's hair looks so much nicer - I believe mine has the same limbs too - thanks for sharing - I found it very interesting. 🥰🥰🥰

Hello! I'm a brand new subbie to your channel. I love your personality and of course I love doll unboxings. I'm seriously considering an Ashton Drake Doll.
Oh gosh! Emily was my very first "reborn" realistic baby that I bought years before the "real deals" era began. I have fond memories of taking her into stores with me and everyone thought she was real! I left her in the back seat of my car wrapped up in her blanket when I went into a convenience store, and when I came out a few minutes later, a cop began chewing me out for leaving my baby unattended in the car...ha! I told him she was not real and he did not believe me until I opened up the car door, picked her up and thrusted her into his manly arms at which point an aggressive macho cop melted into a real softie and he smiled and gave her a kiss on the top of her head. Then he wanted to know where I got her from because he wanted to buy her for his daughter!! Lots of fun memories with her. I don't have her anymore, but now I want to order her just for memories sake... there are a lot more tucked inside my heart! They did an excellent job of this edition, except I am not crazy about her sparse rooted hair even though it is much nicer than the original "glued on" look that was on my first one... enjoy!

She is a cute baby. I have 3 AD dolls and have decided not to purchase any more because I usually get disappointed. I think one of these days they will give more information on the dolls. Like whether they are 1/4,3/4 or full limbs.And most of the pictures don't show the baby with the caps off. I know there are a lot of people out there who love the dolls, and I am happy for them. We each have our own tastes. I am glad that you like your new baby. Again, I don't mean to be grumpy.
I’m totally with you on this… I have 1 Ashton drake doll (God is Grace), she is cute, but odd looking 😂. I was planning on getting another one from Ashton Drake, but I wish they were honest about their dolls. I tried watching YT videos of certain dolls I like , but they are hideous looking lol 😂. I HATE WHEN ASHTON DRAKE SEW THE DOLL CLOTH BODY BY THE LEGS, instead they should make it jointed.
I love that they have her dressed in feminine pink like this. Will you keep the name she arrived with or rename her? She's vinyl and cloth or is there another material? I think I'm skipping ahead. You've not yet gotten ahead that far. My only little doll does not have a COA. She was rescured from a yard sale. She had a $5 written on painters tape and stuck to her baby chest. I love the clothing details of pearls along sleeves and ankles. She has the tiniest delicate little toenails. I like her feet better than her hands. I've learned the term, "Armitures" sp? That's great! There seems to be just so much done "extra" with the blanket and the moving head/legs/arms. Thank you so much for sharing.
