I thoroughly enjoyed this. And I want to say thank you for not being afraid to share your belief in God. I’m also a believer and it’s refreshing and encouraging to see this.
You will know them by their fruit. You can definitely tell God resides in you. Everytime I come, your calm, loving spirit jumps off the screen. ☺️❤️ Love this, I horde journals and pretty paper crafts and I have material to make my own. I have a bind it all from yearrrrrrssss ago so I’m def gonna try this! Thank you so much for sharing 🥰
Sis, this is it. This whole video has blessed my socks, right off. I was considering purchasing a cinch to make my planners and journals. I did them last year on Amazon KDP and I did not want to do that this year. So I will be purchasing , the cinch thank you and God bless you.
Oh yeah!!! I've been waiting for this. I'm getting ready to sit back and enjoy. Guess what I got in the mail today....yep, My Cinch. Thank you soooooo much!
Delonda, you are a riot!!!!! A beautiful one at that. Go head God!!!!! Thank you for sharing. Your crafts are always inspiring. I love journaling as well. Our God is amazing and faithful. Amen.
You are amazing, So thankful for you sharing your talents with us! A couple of ideas to use if you make a lot of these. 1. cut your cover 1 inch on all sides bigger than you chip board. 2. Use a score board and score 1 inch from all edges. This helps prevent paper from separating. Some paper doesn't take to folding easily. 3. Use a spray adhesive in a spray box made out of foam core board and a fan or spray outside in a well ventilated areas, to adhere your cover to the chip board. There are low VOC sprays that allow for temporary repositioning before the adhesive is permanent. Use the score lines in the paper to lay down the chipboard onto the cover paper. This is most useful if you create your own designs and you need them aligned center on your cover. I have used rubber cement to do this as well. Happy crafting!
I enjoyed this so much…. Look at you doing papercrafting…. Awesome. No more buying journals for Delonda 😅 I love the bone folder. It is a important tool For paper & card crafters 😊 Thank you for this wonderfull idea ❤
I just finished watching. I absolutely loved the video. I know paper crafting is not your favorite, so thank you for doing another one for us. I'm tempted to pray that you receive the "love of paper crafting" anointing. I just made myself laugh :) Thanks again. I'll be watching some of your Cricut videos soon. I've forgotten how to use mine. I took a year off due to classes so I'm rusty and need a refresher. You rock Delonda!
I absolutely love this!!!!! I was beyond happy with the large double sided tape I really hate glue. I also think I will make a template for circuit to cut for me since I never get cuts right. I love how you did the pages, so much fun to use.
I Love your journal, you made it so easy to understand ! I also have the exact same carstock you used for your cover, as well as the Hobby Lobby stickers ! they are so beautiful...Your journal looks absolutely flawless !!
Omg.. thanks sooo much for sharing this! I made a notebook using that paper from HL.. xoxo.. This was soooo fun to watch and gave me sooo much inspiration! My favorite is seeing you give ths exact sizes needed.. So easy to understand in which I will follow when I do one again.. I love the colored sheets with the sticky quotes xoxoxox
Thank you very much. I think it's important to give the exact sizes because there is so much cutting required. It helps me to write it all down before I start.
I loved this video!! I’ve been thinking about getting me a Cinch to make journals too. But question, how come you put the back cover on the top facing up instead of putting it first then the paper then the top cover?
Great video. Just out of curiosity though, your interior pages aren't centered on the cover? It looked like after you punched your test pages and laid the interior cardstock on the cover chipboard, that the bottom edges were even but there was a "frame" around the rest, or did I see that wrong?
awesome! i love your videos and tutorials. they are so easy to follow. i have a Cinch but i've never used it. thank you for this tutorial, Miss Delonda😊
Delonda did you the chipboard in the inside like you did in the Zoom we did in this Prayer journal? I'm making one with the binder on the side. Thank you
You greatly explained how to use the cinch. The corners you cut are called mitering corners. Purpose is to remove the bulk around corners. This information is newbies.
I noticed you are using the Cinch with the circle holes. I am getting ready to buy a cinch and cant decide if it's better to get the ones that does square holes or the one that does the round holes. Can you tell me what helped you decide which to purchase?
I so much want to buy the plastic coils for my books and don't understand how to buy when it comes to that pitch which I dont understand. What is the pitch of this machine so that I can buy the right coils on amazon. What would you buy? (not wire) for this machine. Please dont explain the pitch method to me because I don't get that.
Ok Delonda, just for the record you can officially add paper crafting to your resume, lol!! I really want to try the thermal cinch when it comes out cause those coils will get on my nerves. Another great job project.
We R Makers had a video in July about their upcoming products and they introduced a thermal binding machine that uses heat & some kind of strips to make notebooks & books instead of the coil binding. In short the end product would be more like textbook binding. It was supposed to launch in October & be $99 but I still haven’t seen it yet. Amazon does have similar thermal cinch machines. @@CraftingwithDelonda
FYI I just watched a We R memory Keepers video that shows a $12.00 book cover maker that can save you a lot of time. It’s a 1 piece metal tool.@@CraftingwithDelonda
I thoroughly enjoyed this. And I want to say thank you for not being afraid to share your belief in God. I’m also a believer and it’s refreshing and encouraging to see this.
You're most welcome! I'm definitely not afraid. If God is for me, it doesn't matter if the world is against me ❤️🙏🏾🤷🏾♀️

Is the paper trimmer better quality/heavier duty than the cricut one?
Yes!!! I have a Cricut cutter and I stopped using it because it was ripping my paper.
