I eat meat, have been hunting, fish, and think PETA is pretty much 100% ridiculous. But there is something about doing this to bulls that doesn’t sit right with me. Does anyone think that the bull likes this? It can’t be a happy life. Maybe I’m wrong, I honesty don’t know. It is something else all together different on the events or hobbies called "extreme", that put your life in danger, as it shows blatant disregard for our Creator, as well as His creation. About 30 years ago, they used to have an annual rodeo at the Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana, they would tape a $100 to a bulls head and whatever inmate could grab the money they could keep it. These guys were lifers, so they did not have a lot to live for, so one could understand why they were doing it. Never thought I would see the day when everyday citizens would be participating in such an event.

The last time I watched a Rodeo, one of the performers was killed. The management continued on as though he was just fine telling everyone he would be back later. His lifeless body was taken from the scene in an ambulance without lights & siren. The Ambulance was just for show, there was no need for them to hurry, he was dead. That was almost 40 years ago and I lost all interest in Rodeo's then.
"You can't fix stupid". The real kicker here is this style of event has been done for DECADES across the continental states. I was surprised to find out this one was in KY. This is not an isolated incident. I watched one in Texas about a decade ago.
I was shocked and disappointed the Bull wasn't able to finish. Anyone that delights in the torture of animals deserves to be a contestant with no restraint on the main act.

Yikes, I thought the Running of the Bulls was stupid, but THIS is on a whole other level. It's daring untrained people to stay still in a small circle in an enclosed pin. At least with the Running of the Bulls you've running in the same direction as the bulls, so the momentum is on your side if you get hit, and there's nothing stopping you from sidestepping to safety within a second. With this event, even if you're that third guy who gets hit, you have to climb your way out to safety, which is not easy given how tall the barrier is. I'm assuming all these folks had to sign a waiver saying the event isn't responsible if they're hurt? If not, someone's 'bout to get paid.
