I BINGED IT TODAY IT WAS JUST PHENOMENAL
It’s amazing. By the end of episode one, I wanted to yell to myself in my living room at 3:30 AM, “Yes, I AM SCARED!!!”
Although the trailer looks solid, I’d like to see more black creativity outside of the backdrop of racism. Jordan Peele’s last two films *(Us, Nope)* have proven that creepy stuff can happen to us that doesn’t involve our skin color.
Huh ? Racism is a big part . Also this barley has racism
Us and nope literally had our skin color .
@@kennethlewis3881you are completely MISSING the point
I agree. I could not get over it while watching the show. It makes it unbearable.
Although I love it when we as Black ppl create any work of high quality creativity that represents us, I agree with this sentiment as well. Which is why I personally don’t have racism as the backdrop in any of my stories as a Black writer.
I almost cried a few times with the Edmund and Dawn scenes in the last two episodes.
thanks for the binge warnin'
It's interesting, cause the first season was about community. Like how the AA are not accepted. That no matter how much is laid out and put forward it's the community that sets them back (lol them) or drives them away.
Now this season clearly is about society. How it labels them to be this and that. How society doesn't allow them to be something different. I am sure there is more. But if this gets a third season I think it will probably go towards stereotype, or reverse racism. As I see it both seasons played the African Americans being targeted both by community and society. So it could only go vice versa with them not being the victims but the antagonist. It will be a tough nut to crack for a plot focus.
I binged it
A little disappointed this season is only 7 30 min episodes. I couldn’t figure out how I got to episode six so quickly. it seemed like I was getting to a recap so fast.😅
I’m glad I pushed pause on episode six. I’m definitely going to rewatch it at a slower pace.
yay
Shit was terrible
Race baiting pandering
