read the forbidden book Anunnaki Unveiled on Bookria, and you'll see the secrets they're keeping from us.
It was really clear in Jesus' teachings:
Who is my neighbor?
The one who showed mercy.
Go and do likewise.
People don't realize how important the story of the good Samaritan really is. To the people of Judea, the Samaritans were heretical. If the Messiah were to tell the same story today I have no doubt a trans person would take the place of the Samaritan.

Since jan 6th, many of us in the US have become terrified because we do not believe he will step down if elected again. I try to be a Christian buI am horrified of those that call themselves Christians but are ravening wolves. I am terrified that my grand children will have to survive the fall of the United States. Sorry for the rant, have a blessed day.
You are exactly right. The kind of "Christian" we're seeing being so vocal wouldn't like revival in the sense Ed uses it. For them, "revival" sounds more like hell on earth than any kind of path to heaven. Then they wonder why people want nothing to do with their religion.
I am horrified by them too. Even if I believed there was a God, I would not want to be a part of them.
He did promise this will be the last election people will need to vote in. I don't think he's heard of a totalitarian he doesn't admire.
They want to honor vets, but my grandfathers fought a friggin’ WAR against a dictator. To hear someone get praised after saying he wants to be a dictator, even if it’s just a day, is an insult. Dictators don’t give up power like that.
Texas’ Ken Paxton raided the Catholic charities who provide help for immigrants. The nerve of Christian’s helping the alien? The orphan? Tsk tsk.
Libbycollins well first of all they shouldn't be here. They are breaking the law. And catholic charities get paid from the government to do that. Do you think thats fair that people here.neef help but instead the government is helping illegals. God expects us to keep the laws. He expects them not to break the laws. You can throw that in about catholic charities but would they do it if they didn't get paid
@@margaretjones7954 They shouldn't be here? Why is it they are here? Are they not Gods children just as you claim to be? If you needed help from your neighbor and he throws you off his land and accuses you of trespassing you might feel differently. God doesn't call you to have a political opinion or affiliation. He defiantly doesn't call you to force other to live the way you think they should or judge them for not living up to your standards. As a matter of fact most of Jesus teaching are about not having ties to this world not thinking in the context of division and boarders but loving all regardless. Would Jesus be welcome at your church? He was a brown immigrant preaching ideas that conservatives would call socialism. Are you going to vote and try to shoe horn how Jesus would be okay with your choice into your own understanding? I find it ironic that the people that claim to follow him are so vastly different then him. There is a very valid reason people are leaving churches and abandoning faith and it's not because the teaching of Jesus are rejected. "I like your Christ, but not your Christianity"
@@margaretjones7954 Do you really think that God cares about any countries borders? Are not people in South and Central American also His children that we are called by God to help?
@@margaretjones7954 Perhaps in an idea world they would not need to have come here, but its not an ideal world even if charged to work towards making it one. Oppressing the poor the needy is no solution to any actual problem and most of the problems that are alleged to be down to the immigrant are caused by the greedy selfish feckless rich who are deflecting your attention from that.
I have always found it curious how many "pro-life" people support the death penalty.
Because they're anti-abortion, not pro-life. If that were the case, they would change conditions so people didn't feel the need to have an abortion. (I firmly believe that most people seek abortion out of need, not on a whim.)
Edit: and prison systems would work for rehabilitation, not vengeance.
Green gator I don't believe in death penalty. I don't think we have a right to take lives. That is God's job

It's because of the hateful false Christians that true Christians are leaving the churches, and would-be Christians are looking elsewhere for God.
Agreed, those that claim to be the shining example of the teachings of Christ are anything but.
It's true that many young people see this stuff and say, "I want no part in this". I became a Buddhist and it has done a lot of good for me. I think of the judging of the nations and the marching orders Jesus gives us. I do that too. Regular churches are struggling because of the false Christians. I prefer Buddhism where I am required to be compassionate.
I'm not looking for God
Draconian. Thats just excuses. If people love God and church they don't look for reasons to leave. Poor excuses
@@sertandoom4693yep. Blame it on the Christians. Just making excuses
I am angry, ashamed, disgusted ... so many emotions that my savior's message has been so perverted, hijacked, and bluntly ignored. And then I chastise myself for trying to find a label for those who so pervert Christ's message. I walk to the edge of meeting their hate with like. Then I get angry with myself that I have allowed their hate to creep into me. Dang, Fr. Ed, I so wish we could meet a couple of times a month for coffee and conversation. I am just thankful to have your insights on UA-cam.
I've said it here on this channel before, I left my church because it demanded I left behind my personal, intellectual, faith based seeking questioning. The crux of this video hit on something that I couldn't square. What authority did Jesus provide which insisted I treat anyone as less than deserving? If anything, Jesus provided clear reason to treat the 'other' as a most welcomed guest. My take away from scripture was a commandment to offer the gift of love. Anything short of that was 'chaff'. Through your videos, I have found a commonplace to address members of my family, that I doubt I would have found without your guidance. My hope for revival? That those of us separated by external forces will come to know how we're bonded by love, fallibility and hope.
Rev Ed. If you think you are afraid. Try living in the USA. LOVE SENT TO ALL 😎
@@Jam-m7m Yep. Terrified in Texas.
@@karenblalock8869terrified if what? If you are God's the only thing we are to fear is the Lord. He is love but he say the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
@@margaretjones7954there are levels of fear and terror. The fear you speak of, as in regard to reverence towards God, the fear of the Lord, doesn't negate a fear someone might have for something like what this Christian Nationalist movement would promote for you, me, and our family and friends - for generations to come. Consider the Crusades and the acts done back then in the name of God. He was present then as well, yet look the atrocities done (and allowed to be done) in His name by those who had completely distorted the mission given His body. So, a Christian being terrified over a movement usurping the name of Jesus to do evil, is something even I am terrified about. Not for my own sake, but for the world for whom Christ died for.
@@whoaaanelly65 Thank you so much. My soul is at peace, confident in the Lord's care. I dread the suffering the 'Christian' Nationalists want to inflict upon others & their ugly distortion of my faith to fit into their prejudiced need to dominate others in God's name.

I have experienced a stranger willing to let me stay at their home. When traveling as a singe women 69 yrs old, in Nueremberg Germany. I was trying to find the Air B & B it was getting dark, I was tired, hungry, wet due to the light rain. My cell phone was at 10% charge. I heard a women yelling at me. I walked up to her, told I spoke English. She immediately spoke in perfect English, coincidentally he was looking for the same building, she said we would find it together. We found the building but I did not know what unit I was to go to for the Air B&B. I waited at the door as she went in to drop off her package. She was gone a few minutes and came back telling me she found the unit. We spoke a few minutes more, she told me she had already called her husband to tell they may be having a house guest if she could not find the correct place. There are wonderful people who get it. I have had so many interactions of this nature, filling me with joy that mankind is good.
Hospitality is a gift of the Spirit!
Thank you Brother Ed!!!!
There are over TWENTY (twenty-two to be precise) scriptures in The Bible telling us to welcome the stranger in our land, and to love them and treat them with kindness. So, this "christian" nationalist who loves The Bible is just going to happily go directly against all of those scriptures. Christ said that those that did not care for the poor, the sick, and the marginalized were not doing for Him, and would go to their "eternal punishment". And of course The Greatest Commandment, upon which hang "all the law and the prophets" is to love God and to equallly love our neighbor as ourselves. The heresies of the "christian" nationalists never end.

This is the first time I've ever had anything positive to say about a revival that didn't include one crazed Mississippi squirrel.
That squirrel went BERSERK (in the First Self-Righteous Church) 😂
I think a true revival would be like a tidal wave of radical love. Loving the person next to you, regardless of whether or not you agree with them, or share their same political views, or share their same religious views or share anything else. The simple fact that these are human beings, which are children of God should be enough for you to want to feed them, cloth them, and care for them.
Being a child of God is not a fact in any way.
@@jamesparson That kind of depends on what your definition of "God" is, and your definition of "child." Some of us see it more metaphorically; others more literally. Peace.
@@jamesparsonas mentioned by Alyra earlier, some of us mean that metaphorically and I specifically intend this to mean all humans are the same and all deserve the love of God equally.
Thank you. Your words bring awareness and hope that people listen to all the true Christian preachers who preach Jesus's beliefs and works, which as Christians we are supposed to follow 24/7/365 not just give lip service to on a Sunday.
There was a sign as you left the church parking lot where I used to live. It said “You are entering a mission field. Be a blessing!”
Would he consider putting the men who impregnated the women on death row too??? I am so thankful my Jesus is not a hater. He commands His followers to love our neighbors. He is definitely not following Jesus.
Compassion will always do greater works than fear. That's a concept the Nationalists will never understand.
Ezekiel 34 is unfolding … the whole is full of “shepherds who only feed themselves”. God promises to do away with the false shepherds so they can no longer fleece the flock. Hold tight … the true shepherd is coming.

You nailed it again, sir. Unfortunately, not everyone sees it that way. Last week I got into a discussion with a conservative Baptist. First we wrangled about the Creation account in Genesis (I was talking about Clair Patterson and his part in finding the age of the solar system, and he said he didn't buy it - he really thinks the Earth is only about 6,000 years old), and then, when I expressed concern about the very real possibility of Christian Nationalists taking over the country, he said "Well, the Founders meant for this to be a Christian nation." I pointed out that James Madison had clarified that the new country was not intended to be _any_ religion, and he said "But that's not part of the Constitution." Oof.
I would love it if the CN folks wanted power so they could do everything Jesus speaks of in Matthew 25; but I fear that they only want power so they can lord it over others.
Oh, and the product with the people telling more and more people was Faberge Organics shampoo. Yes, I had to google it!

I remember the Jesus Christ movement of the 1970s. My heart filled with joy. happiness and the love for others and Jesus. Repent Republican and Democrat Saints
Someof us Jesus people are still around! Look at the volunteers with gray hair at your foodshelf, homeless shelter organization, feeding kids on weekends, etc.
The Democrats aren't the ones fighting LGBT, immigrants, women’s rights, etc. The church on the Religious Reich are lost in lies. The GOP party policies hurt people, that's why they will be left behind. Nobody will be left behind for being a Democrat, IMHO. The religious left are, sadly, mostly lost to idolatry. It's the Image of the Beast that has destroyed the world and people can't even see it's right in front of us, all the time, in our right hands and in our heads. Rev 13:11-16 is America. The Image is real, the Mark of the Beast is on us when we're born. It’s SIN. We must be born again. How? Faith comes by hearing the WORD of God in Jesus. What we fill our minds and giving our time proves who our God is. It's Jesus or the Beast.
True revival would make us more like the Biblical Christ, not the Republican Jesus.

Forced obedience is conformity. Only God can transform the heart, not man. Only Jesus knew that judas was fake even though he conformed to teach, heal, cast out demons alongside him. The holy Spirit gives discernment.
Thanks for this video Reverend Trevors! This, to me, is addressing Matthew 5 through 7, the Sermon On The Mount. You know, the red print in some Bibles because they are what Jesus said. Jesus told us how we should act and treat people, but we have so many people who think they are great Christians doing God's will. Yet not following the teachings of The Son of God and helping people, feeding them, clothing them, welcoming strangers, loving them?
They have hired someone to chase Lazarus from the gate , he was unsightly
I am tired of people being what amounts to driven away from Christianity by the prejudices of some. Not once did Jesus give the message of hate. Yet, this seems to be the center of their message.
God hides himself behind the eyes of a stranger.
the kingdom of God will not be established on earth by force. army of God does not wield weapons of annihilation. our only power is God's, which grants us fortitude. the only weapon we wield is love of God, which only a pure heart will mirror. for only a true servant of God has no patience for thoughts of material power and greed. true servant of God is already half in heaven, they stand, one foot, firm, in the material world in His service, and the other in the presence of the Beloved! their entire existence is dedicated to God, and their every breath is taken with the memory of God. their every action is in obedience of God, and their every wish is the wish of God. they see not, but with the eyes of God, and hear not, but praise of God. this is how we must be. this is how we attain the presence of God and fulfill our purpose for this fleeting material life. much love to you all❤

What innocence we allow each other, it is also ours, as will our Truth be revealed through Acceptance, and this through Love and Understanding. This is the proclamation of Spirit, the restoration of self in light of Love, a reformation. Thus, will our brethren's "sin" as we perceive it become our salvation, as will ours become theirs once they receive it. You see, to believe in "sin" is to separate; to deny one's self and all of Life's oneness Spirit's meaning. I wonder, where are the teachings of Christ from the Sermon on the Mount, in the "Christian" Nationalist's reasoning!

Joel's type of speech and others I have heard growing up is the reason I never wanted to belong to an organized religion. Now, listening to modern "Christians" and their ideas reminds me of extreme Islamic groups, like the Taliban. Even hearing complaints about how women dress remind me of them.
I can not believe that God and Jesus sees it the way people like Joel does.
You are the first religious person I ha e listened to that didn't make my skin crawl. I have listened to quite a few. So thank you.
Briefly, as a teenager I heard the grownup version of the Gospel Message of Salvation. One thing I didn’t understand, so I prayed sincerely and asked the Lord for clarity. At 15 yrs old he revealed Truth to me in a way that I could never deny. Six decades later I am still declaring His Truth. It pays to Pray and Pursue the Lord through His Word . I suggest begin with the biblical criteria of Salvation Acts 2:38-42, Acts 4:12 and the entire book of Acts, then the four gospels, and the remaining books of the New Testament. KJV. God Bless you.
To me what real revival looks like is when Jesus says the two greatest commandments are love God and Love you neighbor as your self. To me the first is personal but I show it by following the second. By wanting them to have it just good as me. By not thinking “those people” are something less than I am.
A revival would involve throwing the concept of hate in the trash, no more a them only an us. That weapons will be buried and wars will stop. Serving and kidness becomes the norms not the exceptions.

If you haven't encountered it, author Orson Scott Card used to perform his "Secular Humanist Revival Meeting" at science fiction conventions. He used to sell recordings of it. Unfortunately, a couple of decades later, some switch flipped in his brain and he became a Christian Nationalist, using his influence in that cause.
Jesse Dollemore covered Webon’s talk on his Dollemore Daily channel. Jesse remarks were similar to yours. As well as being dangerous, Joel Webon is blasphemous. 14:00 - When you spoke of the cleansing product commercial an old Pete Seeger song One Man's Hands came to mind. The words of the chorus were:
One man's hands can't tear a prison down
Two men's hands can't tear a prison down
But if two and two and fifty make a million
We'll see that day come 'round…
As always, thanks Rev. Ed.
I saw a presentation on UA-cam yesterday by the theologian, Matthew Fox, discussing his latest book, "Trump & the MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ,"
He made reference to a work of art in an Italian church by an artist from the 15th century -- and how that art deeply affected Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. The painting is called "The Preaching and Punishment of the Antichrist." It's quite amazing and thought-provoking.
The person you have mentioned -- from my view -- is preaching as an Antichrist, and Jung especially would argue that it is extremely important we recognize it as such. (Excusing and/or normalizing will put us in great peril.)
Being a genuine Christian is HARD. If you think its easy, or if you think its going to be easy when things go your way, then you are very much missing the point of being a Christian - a follower of Christ.
Jesus spent time with - and accepted - the outcast, the downtrodden, the sinners. Today, shunning those folks seems to be what many Christians think is the right thing to do these days.
He is aware that Atwood wrote about Gilead as a warning and not a dream, and that is fictional, right?
Give a Man a fish, you feed him for one day, but make him dependent on Welfare & handouts all his life.
Teach a Man to Fish and he becomes self-sufficient and Prosperous his whole life.
Regarding the dependence on Welfare: Not necessarily. Many years ago, a friend of mine told me that she and her husband had spent some time on Welfare. At the time, it was a life saver for them. They both found employment and were able to get off of Welfare within a few months, but for that brief time, it was what sustained them so that they were able to move forward with their lives and become independent once again. I agree, though, that the education part is critically important, since that's what gives you the means to gain that independence.
@AlyraMoondancer There is need for Welfare per circumstance. But there is a reason why there are signs in the park that say "Don't Feed the Birds."
Reading some of Joel Webbon arguments, it boils my blood.
Here is one:
Joel Webbon, a self-proclaimed Christian nationalist and senior pastor of Covenant Bible Church in Austin, Texas, stated that he would always choose the white doctor over the Black one, arguing that “if one of them was not qualified and was given a free pass, it’d be the Black guy.”

I’m a little disappointed at some of the comments. There is no such thing as “fake Christians”. There are Christians and non-Christian’s who Profess but do not Possess an ounce of God’s anointing. Christians are exhorted to Fear NOT. God has not given us a spirit of fear , but of power love and a sound mind.” People of God KNOW His Word and literally stand on it!!!!!💙💙💙💙God has said many things prophetically during these past “trying” nine years; which are coming to pass. We have much more to rejoice about than to be fearful of. Vote 💙 and Believe The Devil has already been Defeated! Vote and Pray🙏. 💙🇱🇷💙🇱🇷💙🇱🇷💙🇱🇷💙Harris/Walz 2024!
In 2 Timothy 3 they are referred to as "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof".
And the wonder why women would choose the bear!
Christian Nationalism and those who support it are ironically campaigning against Christ and ALL of His teachings.
I pray for those poor misguided people who have the audacity to use the name of Jesus in support of evil.
May they change their ways and seek forgiveness!
GOD's Laws written in our Heart... AKA THY will be done on EARTH (as it is in Heaven).
My heart pumps blood.
Would I be jailed for 2 miscarriages? Maybe I did something wrong. (20 years ago)
I’d like a discussion about the prosperity gospel. Ed sir, what are your thoughts in this growing belief that if you are wealthy it is because you’re righteous in the eyes of god.
I've noticed that many of the so call Christian Right Clergy ( I call them the UnChristian - Never Right ) only preach from the Old Testament and only the most warlike verses. I have seen them use the name "Jesus" when the verse actually said "God". That's their way of appearing to be Christian, confusion the "Father" with the "Son".
Isn't Jesus God?
@@jamesparson The mystery of the Holy Trinity is that God is one being at the same time that He is 3 beings. But it is clearly delineated in the New Testament which of the 3 beings is being discussed. When Jesus said, "Father, they know not what they do", he wasn't talking to himself. In the Old Testament, when it mentioned God, it was referring to the Father.
