Hi! Great question! It’s ideal to let your bags air out if possible. If left in the box too long, it’s not allowed to breathe and the leather is not able to oxidize and can harden. There’s no there’s no problem to store it in the box just not left too long. I always have my bags on the shelf out of direct sunlight/ artificial light most times.
