I got mine from there too. Yes def makes a difference in my shack. If you do a no antenna before and after scan of the FM and AM broadcast bands you will see the difference. Actual noise floor difference in other bands is very hard to compare but I'm sure its improved in the metal enclosure. Once in a metal box be sure to use a good quality usb cable with one or even better two ferrite suppressors on it. What works even better is to get a usb cable and pass it 3 times through a round toriod core at one end and same on another core at other end.
The SDRPlay RSP1 also has a respectable noise floor, and most all shipped are very frequency accurate with minimal drift as well.

Ok, I do have a suitable sound card for this, but I'm not sure how you get SDR# to 'see' the sound card.
The music playing in the background (at the beginning) makes it hard to hear what you're saying.
