I like how the sage weapons split the effect between the nouliths, I wish they did that for more jobs and more weapons series. Like, separate effects for the sword and shield of the paladin, stuff like that.
Yeah the SGE is by far the best weapon from this set. I think the VPR swords are second, since the blue aesthetic matches their unleash and the TOP ultimate twinblades are terrible. Gunbreaker is nice too. Not a huge fan of the other weapon models/how they applied the effects.
One day I will find a group my level of insane to commit to learning, trying, inevitably failing, eventually succeeding for the ultimate raids… one day. Not today, but some day.
Look at the Sage weapon... look at it... that's one of the many reasons why I dropped Scholar D: It is high time they started adding a "secondary" part to the book weapons... maybe a pen for Scholar and something else for Summoner, so they maybe get some creativity back into the weapons ;_;
At least they started straying from the usual "just a book with a fancy cover" stuff with some of the dawntrail weapons . Like the neo kingdom ones being binders with more items in them (though they're the same between both jobs). But I wish they'd done it for the final stage of the manderville weapons, how hard would it have been to make them tablets ? Having them still be books made no sense.
I wish the blueish effect on the weapons were a bit less bright or only turned on when unsheathed, I feel it hides the base model of the weapon too much.
They are really good looking but they are also REALLY blue and shiny... Feeling the same issue of the UwU weapons there... They look great... But match pretty much no glam, always gonna feel out of place.
Best case scenario for me. I like how they look, but they're not exactly my style, so I don't feel to loo bad missing out... except SGE. Those look incredible, and should fit with skill effects quite well. Maybe some day...

They need to tackle a different type of VFX because they're just adding layers of upon layers of things into one single weapon. Unsheathed, look like the TOP weapns before they turn into purple particles.

@ you say that like it’s easy, but I’m a ditzy forgetful casual player, and even savage content is not something I’ve been able to clear in the 10 years I been playing. I’m not able to juggle an extreme action rotation, quick mechanic rotation, and positionals all at once.
@@babarrett1 If those are your excuses then stay that way and don't complain that you'll never have them. Stuff like this is for people who actually want to put effort into getting it.

And believe me years ago, I definitely did give it my all but I was bringing the static down because of my space cadet-ness. Go on, get those weapons, earn them, and be proud of the achievement. But remember, that those skills you developed are not attainable for everyone, so be kind to them.

I don't wanna hate but these really don't look like ultimate weapons, they look like a relic stage from previous expansions, they're super low key. They aren't ugly, definitely not, but the previous ones looked miles better imo
really like the effects on these, shame i will never touch an ultimate ever, no time or skill for it, but also ultimate raiding is toxic in my experience
Not that impressive. SGE is nice with diff effects on each side but others - nah. VFX covering the gothic vibe of the originals, which is not nice. TOP still the best looking ones. Looking forward to the Hades ultimate

Viper, Dancer, and Sage are my top favorites- but they all look gorgeous!

No, this youtuber didn't clear this ultimate raid. All those weapons are from data mining.
I like the Picto, White Mage, and Sage ones. Almost impossible to find a good group to clear these Ultimates fights.

It's the new ultimate weapons (FRU)
There's a tool to be able to see in-game items on your character, it's client side so only you can see it. It's like the try on function but better.
