- Zabu is the newest card for the latest Marvel Snap Season Pass the Savage Lands -- and he feels just as impactful as Silver Surfer so far! It is still early days and this is from the first 48 hours of release, but he feels bonkers at the moment. Tons of different decks are now enabled and there's just so much to try! This build focuses on a discard package in addition to strong guy in order to capitalize on the miracle synergy between Zabu and Sera!

This should work without Darkhawk if you drop Mystique and Widow and add Jones / Swordmaster / Lizard

Didn't have Hawk or Rockslide so I'm running absorbing man/Rescue/Sunspot over Rockslide/Hawk/Korg and it's been working out pretty well in my garbage elo

16:28 This is a good point about Enchantress. Great, you turn off my Zabu… but I’ve already played two 4-drops on turn 4. I feel like the best counter to Zabu is the fact that you are only 50% to draw by turn 3. 😂
I feel this is why zoo fits really well with zabu.
Doesn't matter if he's countered on turn 4. The damage is already done.
Since adding Sandman to my ongoing deck, I love facing zabu :)
What's your deck list like? I was checking out sandman for this season. I figured he'd fit into the basic ongoing destroyer list even though I don't have mojo.
Won't enchantress just ruin that though?

Wouldn't play Mojo with Sandman though because it's antisynergy
Hey dekk, im messing around with a zabu deck rn, im in like mid pool three as of current, and what you said around 10:14 was kinda what i was running into with this deck, so my work around was running sunspot, with the addition of jubilee to thin out the deck and try and guarantee a zabu or a sera on board even if i hadn’t drawn it before turns three and four. Absolutely loving your content right now man!
Appreciate these videos so much, not a lot of content creators are mindful that most players do not have most of the pool 4 and 5 cards cough*Cozy with 7 decks stacked with those*cough . Keep up the good work and stay hydrated 👍🏻

that giant morbius was amazing :)
I've been using Dracula and Chaez in mine and it's been sweet. Chavez helps consistently to draw Zabu and its easy to dump all of your hand on the final turn beside the Chavez so Dracula is always a 2 9.

With the amount of 3/4 drops running about, I've had so much success with kingpin magneto plays. Obviously teching in sandman and enchantress.
Does Magneto still interact with 4 drops which got effected by Zabu?

@@QubeASMR yeah, they are 4 cost cards. Even when discounted.
It can get confusing knowing the difference between "X cost cards" and "cards cost X"

Are you referring just to the Token shop, or is there another way to craft/buy cards that you specifically want?

Does goose really hold up with everyone playing zabu? I can see that it "makes them have it" but curious if it doesn't feel dead a decent amount of the time. A lot of Zabu decks run the low stat tech cards so wondering if just like Lizard for stats (enchantress proof) or enchantress yourself would be better. How'd you like it?
If I had Zabu (conflicted on buying the pass) goose is a card I would put in my deck to benefit me but not my opponent. Double kitty ftw

Everyone will be running Sandman just because of Zabu, but my question is why was nobody running Sandman during the Silver Surfer season?
I think leech is a hard counter to this deck, sand man also would work the rest just biggies
All the over-confident Leader players getting destroyed is super satisfying.
At my currently collection level, zabu isn't that powerful. Sera is still better so far

Zabu is pure power creep. i mean come on, that card was designet to be unstopable.
Except for all the things that stop it (Sandman (who is the worst of the options but still an option), Rogue and Enchantress). Or the fact that not drawing into Zabu hamstrings the deck a lot.
Or retreating early so it's only a one cube loss and move on to the next game.
But yeah, totally unstoppable.

I do not enjoy Zabu. He comes too late or not at all too often for me.
For sure he's a all or nothing most times. If you don't go all in on the Zabu strat he can still do fine. I make sure I run Sentinel so I'm not without some early turn power at the very least so I can still often get enough power without Zabu but it hurts the deck hard not pulling him. The counterbalance to running an all in strat and not running a good second win con.

Why all streamers says - zabu is good??? Why are you dont says truth? Game is broken and die now. Zabu broke game. Is it really interesting to see only zabu in the game? Moreover, the game turns into p2w.

It's no different than Surfer being everywhere or even Black Panther. The new season card always sees high play early on in the season as people try to figure out the best lists for the card.
Zabu isn't P2W any more than other pass cards. He fills a niche but isn't great if you don't draw him or draw too late into the game. He's easily countered even if he does hit the board and if he gets shut off then the Zabu deck often just outright loses.
I'd rather see Zabu than the abundance of leech+leader that we saw the last month or so.
