- Seems like an easy thing to do, right? Turn on the metronome and go, right? Well there's a little more to it than just that. A lot of people own metronomes and don't use them "properly". Here's a video to help you practice with the metronome and achieve better rhythm. Any questions, let me know.
@KevinGuitarLessons
dude your tone is amazing, very sweet and CLEAN playing. Thanks for the vid
Thank You Kevin, excellent and simple lesson. keep up the good work!
Thanks for uploading this :) I've been wondering how to use one for a while, I asked my guitar tutor and it still seemed alien to me, it makes more sence now but I am still to get one up and try it :P
this is a must for every guitar player to start..thanks!
Finally. A decent video about metronoming
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
At home I use a Johnson J station plugged into my old stereo. It's basically a POD (amp modeler + fx). I just find a good clean tone, and add just a hint of reverb,.
Great lesson mate, thanks
Thank you so so much your awesome dude !!!!
Thank you again! :)
no cool man, its 63bpm then I checked ;D Its a brand new metronome so yeah! thanks for the video man
this fucking helps much simplerr than other videios
Thank you for this excellent lesson!
Great tone too! what amp do you use?
Pretty sure it was, although the next step up on my met is 63, so it's possible. Maybe check your battery?? Maybe when I edited the video it sped up a little?? Not sure. Check an online metronome!
I have a question for you (or anyone who knows about guitars). I understand the basic principle of the metronome. However, what if you are playing mostly notes and do things that pause rhythm, like string bending, string wobbles, or just pauses in general? It throws off my timing a lot.
@HeroxYouxH8 Glad I could help!
Hello kevin, loved ur vdo btw which music r u playing .i mean is it a song or ur own music ??
Hey thanks for the video I don't quite understand the terms. Like quarter notes, triplets, whats that?
Dotted notes add half of the note value to itself. Dotted Half note = 3 beats. Dotted quarter note = 1 1/2 beats.
thansks man :)
How would you use one to practice sweep picking? Like one note every click or?
what about dotted notes
i don't get it so every tick i need to strum once? :l
how about 32nd notes
wouldnt those be half note triplets because quarter not tripletes and normal triplets right? and you should do another video soon i really enjoyed this one
Thanks man, really appreciate that. As for the triplet thing, remember, it's fitting 3 notes where 2 normally go. So 3 quarter note triplets would fill 2 beats. 3 eighth note triplets will fill one beat. 3 sixteenth note triplets will fill half a beat. Would love to do another video, just don't really have many topics in mind that aren't already out there. If you have any ideas, let me know. Also, I lost my camera a while back, but will be getting another soon. Peace!
could you have whole note triplets? ha
dude are you sure your metronome is set on 60Bpm? cuz my 60bpm is like a few steps slower :O
this thing really helps?
metronome does not simply wrong
I can't fucking do this.
