Remember seeing David Beckham waiting patiently in line to pay his respects to The Queen? I don't recall him saying "Do you know who I am"? And he's WAY more famous globally than Corden.
The "Fill Your Guts or Spill Your Guts" that Corden did with Jimmy Kimmel was ... eye-opening when Kimmel dared Corden to name any of the camera operators and Corden wasn't able to. It gave more insight to how detached Corden was from his own crew.
Years ago I asked some who worked behind the scenes who's the nicest they said David Beckham, who's the worst , he didn't hesitate he said hands down James Cordon. This was Years before he went to the usa.
Hello from Ohio, USA! Never was a fan of James Corden. I could smell his narcissism straight away! Self-important, "look-at-me!", "I'm so talented!" types are THE WORST. Btw, great reactions! Keep 'em coming! :)
It's been said that Corden's writers on Late Night "stole" the jokes and penned them for Corden so it would blow up in his face and it worked. GOOD for them, he treated his staff and the general public like sh.. Though sorry for the Brits, glad he's gone.
He's a total DB and knew it prior to him coming to the US. The fact that he mistreats people because he feels self-important is just an arrogant jerk. Good point that he is trying to be a Ricky Gervais, and he will never be that and will never come close. This guy feels that his arrogance and being a jerk is comedic for some reason.
@@user-vc5rp7nf8f The issue with that is Ricky has always had an abrasive persona when performing but is genuinely a decent down to earth bloke of stage. But his comedy is carefully and intelligently crafted to be funnier than it is harsh. Corden isn't smart or self aware enough to pull that off and his nice guy stage persona isn't very convincing. He excelled at playing Smiffy because Smiffy was an arrogant stupid twat so the character wasn't much of a stretch. The few times the character had to be sincere and vulnerable he couldn't pull it off.
Craig Ferguson was the most joyous, original, creative show ever. Everyone in the room was always in a fantastic mood after watching a show. After him, none of them are worth watching.
I will never forget his show in the dark, his opening monologue remarks on Lindsay Lohan, and what he said when his father died. I was a CF addict, I saw a million of them, but really couldn't stand Geoff. His addition soured the show a bit for me, (but, yes, I'm aware, I'm the only one.). I am not a fan of James Cordon as a person, but in Carpool Karaoke he's supposed to be singing with the siger in the car. It's just supposed to be like friends driving somewhere and singing to what's on the radio. Carpool Karaoke segments were extremely popular in the US. Cordon has a lovely singing voice with range. Exactly, John Oliver’s format is more akin to Colbert or Stewart. A parody of a cable news show Craig Ferguson, like Corden, was more of a traditional late night variety show
14:12 They were talking about Mathew Horne. In a subsequent interview with _The Times,_ Horne indicated that Morgan had been dishonest in the way he had framed the situation and that there had been no beef between the two actors. Horne told _The Times,_ "That's where the rumour that we'd fallen out started, and it snowballed from there. I didn’t go on that show, because I was filming out of London, and they could only film my interview on one day, and I couldn’t do it. The other reason is that I dislike Piers Morgan and everything he stands for. The truth is that there was never any rift and everything is fine. James and I have always been friends and we always will be. I talk to him quite a bit given the time zones and it was great to see him and be acting with him again." Hopefully, Corden can see all of this as a learning experience and use it to re-evaluate his priorities and grow as a person.
James Corden'S level of comedy, is a Friday/Saturday night cracking jokes with your mates over a pint or two. The jokes are old, have been repeated more times than any of us have had hot dinners and most of them are dad jokes. I have never found him funny.
The American dream is to boost your ego, James Corden clearly tried too hard to fit in, and pretty soon his ego got so big he couldn't fit in anything.
His peak was Gavin and Stacey....his career was ski run down a shit hill afterwards...IN MY OPINION..... he's really giving off Harry and Meghan vibes nothing is his fault...it wasn't me.... seriously???
The beginning of the end for his US show was his treatment of kpop group BTS➡ nice to their face but made fun of them as well. Bad idea, the BTS Army is half a billion fans.
As an American almost everyone I knew watched his clips of carpool karaoke until it was exposed that it was either a green screen or they were just being pulled on a trailer. And then that segment with weird/spicy foods but even that was exposed as being taken from another show. Nothing about him is original. But never have I known anyone to watch his late night show in full.
as an American, im glad he’s gone! he let fame get to his head! he was kicked out of a very ritzy restaurant, you would scream at the wait staff for the tiniest things. anyway, when he said he was moving back to the UK there was no love lost here. Most of us were glad he was leaving!
As someone from the US, it was when he inserted himself into EVERY musical movie. And it never mattered what the character was, it was always played by James Corden as James Corden. There was no variation. It was just too much. Stand down, fella.
Funnily the skank was on Craig Ferguson. I'm sure you have seen that immensely cringe worthy clip rightfully pulled apart by the UA-camrs who call their disgusting narcissism/behavior out. If not, I recommend. 😂
He is and always has been a raging narcissist! And they always destroy themselves and will never be happy no matter what. Also that Gavin and Stacey Finale was a right bloody let down. Talk about miserable and self indulgent on his behalf.
I admit that I did not follow all of this when it happened, but this sounds a lot like people’s rewriting history and blaming a person for things that were never considered problems. I understand that he is a jerk to people and that behavior isn’t acceptable. It has cost him his career and perhaps rightly so (even though other entertainers survive doing far worse). But you can’t use his choice of bad movie roles (Cats) to boast your case against him. Remember, Taylor Swift, Dame Judy Dench, Idris Elba, Sir Ian McKellen, Jennifer Hudson, Rebel Wilson and more chose to be in that nightmare of a movie. And you can’t go back and criticize Carpool Karaoke as an example of him being a jerk when everyone adored it at the time. Or try to demonstrate his duplicity by pointing out the car was being towed. Forgive me, but anyone who thought otherwise is remarkably oblivious. Of course they were being towed! How could you do something that dangerous - a TV show performance - on the streets of L.A.? It would never be allowed. You also can’t blame him for branching out and taking other gigs like hosting award shows. That’s what entertainers do. Don’t get me wrong, It’s unacceptable to get in a public spat during a show and treat restaurant servers like dirt. That should be enough of a condemnation of his character and reason to reject him as a performer. All the other stuff is just people following our worst pubescent instincts to try to prove that we never liked him and saw it all along. He wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t regularly watch his show. But he’s done some funny stuff that gave people joy. That can still be true.
I’m not a fan of him, but I saw him in one man, two guvnors and he was brilliant, and I loved car pool karaoke. He doesn’t appear to be very nice, and is finding out the hard way that you can’t behave like that no matter what profession you’re in. He’s been an arrogant prat but I hope he realises his mistakes and can find the humility he needs to turn things around so people speak about his talent not his bad manners.
I lost it when he did the sing off with Adam Lambert and Queen. It was really difficult to watch and the only reason I did watch was to see Adam Lambert with Queen. He will never have the humility needed to recover his career. And no, you can keep him 😎
I don't dislike him. I'm South African. I just find his comedy a bit repetitive. Sometimes when he soes a skit it drags on, like I'm waiting for the punchline. In fact I probably already know what it's going to be by the time he gets around to it. He does this whole 'pity me' comedy bit everytime where he wants the audience to go aww the whole time and he really drags it out and milks it. I forgot about the Patrick Stewart bit but haven't they patched it up since then? I know Patrick's been on the show a few times. Let's be honest, not he, nor most other people can hold a candle to probably the best host the UK has ever had... Graham Norton.
Add my name to the list , can’t stand the guy , never did. Must have been an odor that came from him that i just never gave the guy a chance, and his actions showed why.
I found his bits funny, but watched when they were released on UA-cam. I thought only the time he had Justin Bieber on was when it was a car on a tow.. I really did enjoy the one Carpool with Paul McCartney, if you have not seen, its very worth the watch!
Ha Ha! When Daz talked about the Spice Girls, we were playing the newer Trivial Pursuits (the board game) we got for Christmas and my husband, who knows next to nothing about entertainment trivia, got a Spice Girl question-to name the 5 names. He did manage Posh Spice and Ginger Spice. That is amazing for never listening to their music!
2:16 That's hilarious. Daz moved to the USA to avoid the Spice Girls and went then back to the UK when they started getting big in the US! He didn't really, but I like to pretend he hated them so much that he fled the country to not hear them. I wish I could have done that with BTS.

@@tweevers2 He use to live right next to Bobby Lee. If you want to see a conversation with Craig behind the scenes, check out his appearance on TigerBelly with Bobby Lee. It's literally just in Bobby's house so Craig probably just walked there.
Exactly, John Oliver’s format is more akin to Colbert or Stewart. A parody of a cable news show
Craig Ferguson, like Corden, was more of a traditional late night variety show
John Oliver isn't funny
Definitely Ferguson. John Oliver wouldn't be in competition because the format is completely different.
I used to love him. Now I can't stand him. So self-righteous!
He was a rude and obnoxious individual for being a guest in our country. He also made boatloads of $$$ from the people he criticized and made fun of.
Prople in the South hate him too! The North aren't exclusive when it comes to recognising bellends🙄
Couldn’t agree with Gallagher more if I tried 👏🏻
I agree with Gallagher and I don't even like Oasis.
James Corden'S level of comedy, is a Friday/Saturday night cracking jokes with your mates over a pint or two. The jokes are old, have been repeated more times than any of us have had hot dinners and most of them are dad jokes.
I have never found him funny.
I've never watched him but I do hear about his scandals and people saying they dislike him.
What did it for me was when he would do a song outside in the street by his studio for the late night show. He was
NAKED!!!!
The American dream is to boost your ego, James Corden clearly tried too hard to fit in, and pretty soon his ego got so big he couldn't fit in anything.
I don't like Mojo videos, but this one was good. James Corden has never been amusing to me. He's just not as funny, or important, as he thinks he is.
The way he did JB at that award show was so creepy.
They got him back though 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💜
Absolutely gobsmacked the way he spoke to Sir Patrick Stewart
As soon as I hear “Do you know who I am?” My brain goes “I don’t know and I don’t care!” ✌🏻🇬🇧
I loved Craig as host of the late late show. Never watched anything this prat is in.
He was friends with Harry Winsor and his missis that says it all.
I've never liked him and couldn't understand the early hype he got.
I can't say my opinion has ever changed about him.
As someone from the US, it was when he inserted himself into EVERY musical movie. And it never mattered what the character was, it was always played by James Corden as James Corden. There was no variation. It was just too much. Stand down, fella.
Watch mojo needs to do some research, Corden has never been a comedian.
I remember thinking he was creepy when he fixated on Justin Bieber and told the kid he smelled wonderful. He said it like he was hitting on the kid.
When mediocrity is elevated.
Sparry and TOW were the final American nail in his coffin.
We were not amused.
Give me Craig Ferguson any day and everyday!
Mathew Horne didn’t want to go on Piers Morgan
He is so annoying. He started off funny, then became a narcissistic and an egomaniac.
The fall from grace, can be severe and swift
Here in the States, I loved watching Craig Ferguson. I never watched one minute of this guy.
Remember the show he did with garry barlow?
The way james looked at garry, like a puppy looking at its owner, it was really cringey!
He's a bell end 😂😂😂😂
And no, you can keep him 😎
Who can ever forget Cordon in his role of Cats 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 more cat litter than a cat !
Now I wonder if Duke Hairey got his attitude and maybe advice from Corden, it seems so similar. He should take Hairey with him, please!
I wonder how corden felt when he realized he's never going to out grow his chubby little middle school body 😂
It was the bloke who plays gavin, that refused to come on with james.
2:16 That's hilarious. Daz moved to the USA to avoid the Spice Girls and went then back to the UK when they started getting big in the US! He didn't really, but I like to pretend he hated them so much that he fled the country to not hear them. I wish I could have done that with BTS.
the person who refused to take part in the interview was.... the lad who played Gavin, James Cordens' 'comedy' partner.
After Craig Furgunson, most fun and entertaining talk show host since the old school talk show hists,I stopped watching late night talk shows. Not interested.
It was Mathew Horne, who plays Gavin, who Piers Morgan was talking about.
to be fair he definetly doesnt write his own jokes in a show like this. and the rest wasnt that bad either. and in hollywood 99% of the people are fake af anyway..... thats their job
James Corden is like coming across a poo on the street thinking it’s fake and picking it up only to realize it’s real and you are now juggling poo
