    GC's worship schedules. That's a given. What separates the good from the bad are those who are willing to build a positive relationahip with their subs and are willing to understand their needs and meet them.

    Hi sir,
    finally I'm writing my thoughts down here. Your channel has really inspired me. I spent a whole day going through your videos when I was preparing interviews for a site engineer role abroad, I'm soooo excited about this role. Even though it is true, I didn't realise how much this industry is worldwide saturated more importantly, how this has an effect on the everyday life of Indian engineers I grew up in India and 7 years before completed my B.TECH(CIVIL- ENGINEERING) and now I am doing normal civil engineer job in india !! This is so embraced and I feel this is a headache I still can't move abroad
    I am trying it. I want to encourage Indian engineering students, especially those from the Indian community and with lack of English barrier and also it being their second language, to follow their dreams to become an engineer in Abroad.
    Only one chance to give me I will perform definitely

    Loads of respect Tim ..being a carpenter stepping into building custom homes on the beaches of Maui and now stepping out of my comfort zone having one hotel under my belt I’m learning every day at 55 ..keeps us young facing new challenges and feeling like we are contributing to not only our own success but the success of others .

Have you heard the talk about - Weydaniel Organized Dominator (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one of a kind product for getting 7000 plus project management and business templates minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my old buddy Taylor after many years got amazing success with it.

    Does a superintendent need to be highly proficient in all trades essentially? Or have a rough idea of how long each trade should take for any given project?

      @trollin456 2 роки тому +6

      I started as a non-union electrician, then as a union laborer followed by union pipe fitter and finally non union millwright. Hunger for constant growth has pushed me forward. Ive done many carpentry side jobs through out my life aswell. Ultimately, i think it all boils down to understanding the process from start to finish and being diverse as a professional within the trades. Carpenters move up because they deal with all the trades, from building forms for concrete to communicating with fitters and hvac guys according to prints to ensure openings are kept through drywall or concrete to allow the run of service for piping or duct work. Once you get in deep enough as a skilled multi craftsman, adversity and challenges are the only thing that keep me going. Best of luck my man! Im still new to the title and honestly it doesn't seem to burden me at all. Research all you can!
