Ingrid! An idea for you: when you need to fit a lot on your bag, try putting your sweaters and stuff in 2 gallon bags so you can squish all the air out! Thats how I go backpacking, plus then if any of your stuff spills, your clothes are nice and safe!
Its supposed to be a blizzard in Iowa , most schools (my school) are planning snow day for Thursday (tomorrow)
Stay warm! It's funny how where you live changes your perspective. Today I thought it was not too chilly and the high was like 9 F according to my phone. But before this we had like 2 weeks straight of constant -25 with a lot of wind. Yay Canada.

I feel like it's always "that time of the month" when Ingrid does any type of packing video haha.
I've always found that I remember to pack/wear coats, hats and gloves when it's cold enough. It's my legs that end up cold! lol. I always forget to wear another layer under even jeans.

You pack very efficiently. Just a quick question, don't you have to put all your liquids, aerosols and gel products into a one-quart, see-through baggie for TSA regulations? Hope you have a fabulous trip.
i think it's in fahrenheit :) is UK in celcius? Because in my country the degrees is celcius too!
She means 28F, which is still below freezing. It's reasonable to call that chilly! Plus as the other commenter says, LA doesn't really get too cold, even in winter.

I'm curious, I never see you pack your liquids in a 1 qt. plastic bag like the TSA requires. Do you just do that later after you finish vlogging?

Haha I wondered that too! But the sweatshirt that she called a jumper is actually a Wildfox Baggy Beach Jumper, so I think she just called it a jumper for short

28 degrees fahrenheit is -2.2 celsius, that below freezing point, it's cold!

I thought so too! I'm always so confused when I watch these packing videos and people bring a bunch of liquids like this in their carry on. I guess security just doesn't notice?

28 degrees is warm for Iowa this time of year. It is usually -15 for a normal year.

28 degrees celsius is the temp you're reffering to, but in america they measure it in farenheit
liquids only have to go in a ziploc if they are over 3 oz. but your not suppose to have anything over 3 oz in a carry on bag, so they'll just end up throwing it out anyway unless you're really lucky!
Did they let you through with the longchamp as a carry on?! Girl you had a razor in there!

That's not true. Razors are allowed, as are nail clippers. You can check the TSA website.
We don't have snow in Ames, IA but they say we should get ALOT tomorrow and ALOT on Thursday! YAYYY

Hope you're bringing a clear bag for TSA to put your liquids in if you're planning on carrying that stuff on and not checking it

you just get used to the climate where you live. i grew up in l.a. and when i moved to oregon(a normal day is about 50-60 degrees) i was always freezing. sometimes i still am but it's been about 4 years and i can now successfully walk outside without a jacket on and have it be like 45 degrees and not feel like it's cold. Because in l.a. our nighttime is 60 degrees.
You should use Space Bags to cram your bags full! I wonder how often people do that.

I live in the neighboring state, Illinois, and we just had our first sight of snow today. However, it immediately melted when it hit the ground so I wouldn't expect that much snow. I don't know if global warming is really hitting hard, but this year set the record for the most days without snow.
I've never tried Mac's cleanse off oil but I use Dermalogica's pre-cleanse which does the exact same thing but i dont know if it gets off waterproof mascara so i might have to look into that and change to Mac's if it doesn't!

I think she meant that it said Lowa instead if Iowa. Uppercase i and lowercase L look exactly the same. Il. See? The first one is Capital i and the 2nd on is lowercase L.

I think you're thinking in Celsius. In the US they use Fahrenheit. 28 Fahrenheit is basically -2 Celsius. Or that's what Google told me.

Yeah I know, it just always seems so ironic how we're stuck in those temperatures basically all year round and they deal with it by choice. If anything I really admire Ingrid for doing that.

I have a tip: If you're having trouble taking off eye makeup and don't have a remover near, use olive loil! Its good for your eye area and lashes, and wont make you break out!
The Wet Brush is amazing! Looks like nothing special, but its so good.

yeees 28 degrees is sooo warm :D in Poland we have here sometimes -10 degrees, and now it's only 0 degrees. so it's pretty warm for winter :)
