    Great design! I made a few icons useing the flat colors, and the 45 degree dark shadown on the sign. Nice inspiration!

    I like your tutorials. Good way of explaining while doing real work which is not to difficult (I know photoshop quite well but need to learn more illustrator as I do quite a lot of print design). Please tell me how do you define key object? Is this the very first shape you create? Or there is a setting for that?

    I like these tutorials much better than the traditional from beginners tutorials like they are on lynda (idk how yours are on skillshare). I just end up learning more from them.
    Always a fan of your tutorials and keep up the great work bud.
    P.S. I'll checkout your class on skillshare as well ;)

    I thought this looked really cool! I have a question though. With most flat-Lay designs that I’ve seen, the shaddow is vertically placed. Why did you choose to do a shaddow that is turned to the left with this one? I really liked the way it looks!

    Awesome video! I've got a stupid question here: why duplicate the text and keep it on side? (Just want to understand how that would be useful in any way). Cheers:)

      @fabfabfab14 6 років тому

      the text here needed to be outlined/rasterized, so the duplication will help if you need to re-edit the text. 'cause once a text is outlined/rasterized you can no longer edit the letters or words you put in there :)

    Can you make a video teaching how to make a flat shadow?

    • @pixelandbracket
      @pixelandbracket  6 років тому

      What kind of shadow are you thinking?

    • @discombobulated5081

      Pixel & Bracket The which come out of shape and goes down to the background
      Don't know how to explain

    • @pixelandbracket
      @pixelandbracket  6 років тому

      That’s the one I thought you were talking about, I’ll make it a tutorial specifically on the two ways that I create long shadows. There are pros and cons to each
