I LOVE Barcelo Aruba! I stumbled across this video because I was looking for a walkthrough because I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to see it. Was there for a second time this past January and will be back again March 2025...can't wait!
For anyone looking at this video trying to find a place to stay in Aruba, this place was fabulous . The food was good (we went right before covid hit, myself and my 2 young adult sons). It suit us fine, we aren't fancy people, so we didn't require anything super fancy. The accomodations were clean, people were nice, I would do it again in a second. The vendors on the beach were helpful, not pushy, you could do any activity you wanted. The area was quiet, people were courteous. Aruba was wonderful, I would go again today if I could. Book this resort, you won't regret it.
Thanks for sharing! Coming in August. Heard so much about Aruba, can't wait! That reminds me, I need to go lock in my car rental. How's the heat? People make it sound like it's excruciating.
In our price range we are looking at the Holiday Inn and Barcelona. But wondering if the extra money for Al would pay off because I want to travel the island and take in their foods. Also we were just in Cayman and stayed up from George Town and the beach was free of seaweed. Are the beaches clearer at different times of the year?
@@lillysmith8114 great question! I like the peace of mind of AI, the beach being right there, not worrying about a bill. It all adds up. Ive heard seaweed can vary (I saw a video from May 2024 and the beach was seaweed free). Hope this helps! I encourage you to find ways to explore the island on a budget.
Thks so much for sharing this video, I will be arriving at Barcelo Aruba 8/14/24. All these vlogs are helping me be prepared, I’m just so afraid of the iguanas I might have to wear sneakers my entire stay so when I’m running from them I won’t fall and then they might crawl on me 😵💫 I am terrified of them and the birds too
Thanks for stopping by :) Iguanas are harmless, they chill by the pool, just avoid the bright red nail polish (they may think your toes are cherries) have fun!!
@@TipsTripsTV 🤦🏾♀️ I heard that the red attract them. I’m your new subscriber, thks again for sharing. I’m going to enjoy myself I’m sure but I will be on the look out for the iguanas so I can go the other way. It’s funny I was in the army but afraid of all outside living creatures no lie even butterflies 😵💫😵💫
Barcelo has beach chairs and cabanas. I was told by one of the employees that umbrellas are not from Barcelo property. But since it’s all inclusive there is no cost for them to move it to specific locations ( tipping is appreciated though )
@vram the Beach Chairs are there for the Barcelo Aruba guests, but umbrellas were for the neighboring property :(. You can get the Beach Huts at first come first serve though, that would be your best bet! There is no kids pool, but for the most part Barcelo is pretty chill so the kids can swim in it. I did notice adults were in mainly in the pool in the evening time swimming, and kids in the am (adults would all huddle by the beach bar). Hope that helps!

The heat is not too bad, but it is very dry, 83 degrees though… it is a desert island after all🏝️ HAVE FUN!!!

@@ArmyGirl-lz3qdlove to hear it! You will have a blast! Be sure to take an island tour if you can!
Thank you! Barcelo has umbrella to use or only Cabanas?
Absolutely! I appreciate the feedback!

One Happy Island....
Absolutely, there is a reason for that ;)
Do you have to am,e reservations to eat at the Al inclusive. I have never been to one and interested in booking here
Hello! There are 2 restaurants that don’t require reservations (the beach club and the Palm Restaurant)
Do we need to rent umbrellas on the beach? Is there a kids pool?

@@TipsTripsTV thank you. We're hoping to book soon
@@vram sounds great! Definitely book sooner than later, cause these prices were pretty insane a couple weeks after we booked!
@@TipsTripsTV how are the vegetarian/vegan options at the restaurants and buffet?
@@vramhello, there are more vegetarian options than vegan, but they are available, I feel the food options in some restaurants are better than others.
I was at this exact resort May 3-8 and not one pit of that stuff on the beach? That’s alarming
I was shocked and disappointed it was there 😢, but made the best of it 😅
i tought there is no seeaweed in aruba 🥹
We did too, I think summer months might be less seaweed?
@@TipsTripsTV going 1time in october hoping for some sunny days 😎
Good thing about Aruba… No hurricanes… rain should not be an issue, have a great time!
@@TipsTripsTV thanks mate
