Hi, thank you for watching and for your comment! 😊😊 Here’s the info I found: “For budget-conscious travelers, the best time to visit Aruba often falls during the off-peak months, which are typically from late spring to early autumn. These more budget-friendly periods, running from May to November, coincide with the island's ‘off-season’.”
Savaneta is farther from the main hotel area so calmer, full of local charm, amazing ocean views and closer to Mangel Halto and the Arikok National Park and Baby Beach. We actually plan to stay in the Savaneta area next time we’re in Aruba. Last time we were there was in March and April.
Hi! Thank you for watching! Yes you have to pay to rent chairs at the beach in most places. The prices vary. It can get pricey, I have seen up to 70 USD for 2 chairs and an umbrella for the day. We are a big family so most times we sit on our towels and we’re always in the water anyway, so we skip those hefty-priced chairs. There are some websites where you can rent them in advance. For example Franks Place www.franksplacearuba.com/rentals/beach-chair-umbrella-rental-holiday-inn-location/ or Delphi Watersports www.delphiwatersports.com/rentals/beach-umbrella-and-beach-chairs-package/ Another option, if you’re staying long enough is to go and buy chairs at the store and leave or gift them when you’re leaving the island. And if you’re staying at a airbnb check because often the owner may have some for their guests. Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
Where to stay best we might stay in one of the marriot hotels im just wondering if its easy to drive than taxi? Is the car left hand drive like US cars?
Driving the the Marriott Resort is approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport. The driving is on the same side as the 🇺🇸. Also the roads are in good condition. Only difference is the roundabouts but you get used to them quite fast.
Hi! Thanks for watching. I totally understand I am always a little intimidated when driving during our travels. But we found the streets in Aruba were super easy to navigate. Only concern would be the roundabouts, if you are not used to them. We have some here in Canada, so it was Ok but if you don’t, you may want to watch a video or two about them. But after you’ve tried them, you’ll be fine. Link below is a good video I’ve found. Hope it helps! 😊😊 Have a great trip! ua-cam.com/video/46mOPz3rhHs/v-deo.htmlsi=9CafwVNR-9qr3qb9
do I need to have valid test to get ED card? not sure what is it about but I though covid testing been long gone from the traveling now, or did I get it all wrong ?
Hi! Thanks for watching. Oh no the ED Card is not about Covid at all. It’s an Embarkation-Disembarkation Card that every non-resident traveler needs to fill in to enter the country. Please check their website for more info: www.curacao.com/en/questions/customs-and-immigration/what-is-an-online-ed-card
You replace your regular card for the travel sim (make sure to keep your regular card in a safe place) No international charger needed. American outlets. Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
Yes it should be good. In the park, there are specific roads designated exclusively for 4x4 vehicles, but the others are ok for smaller, regular vehicles. So you actually only need a 4WD to get to the Conchi Natural Pool. If your Ford Explorer isn’t equipped with that option, and you want to get to the Natural Pool, you can park and hike to the pool. I think it’s about a 3 mile hike. Hope this helps!
Hi! Thx for watching! Aruba Airport is called Queen Beatrix International Airport and there are many rental car companies on site where you can drive off from.
You can check this video description with tours we recommend. Also, your hotel surely will offer some. We rented a car on Expedia. Also we rented a car while already on the island with Drive 4 Cheap Car Rentals. See the link in Description.
Here is a DONT. My wife and I went to Aruba Floating Massage. The massage was OK. The owner however was super rude. Like really ... unexpectedly came to us in the middle of our time where my wife and I were enjoying the sunset and our special moment and she said - your time is up - you did not pay for the 30 min you spent looking at the sunset. Apparently her staff screwed up in booking. But she literally chased us out by saying - you got to go now. We paid $330 - just to be chased out because we were watching a sunset with the extra hour that we thought we had because her staff mixed up the packages. We left with such a sour feeling... She ruined a beautiful moment I had with my wife. A moment that I paid them for. Terrible business...
Oh no I am so sorry to hear this. Sadly there are rude and money-driven people everywhere. Hope you still enjoyed your vacation and didn’t let this event ruin it all for you. Happy Holidays!
NOT all countries tip. We’ve been to some countries where it is considered an insult to tip after a meal. So I added it: more information is better than less.

Would saveneta be a good place to stay? What time of year were you there?
Savaneta is farther from the main hotel area so calmer, full of local charm, amazing ocean views and closer to Mangel Halto and the Arikok National Park and Baby Beach. We actually plan to stay in the Savaneta area next time we’re in Aruba.
Last time we were there was in March and April.
Aruba 🇦🇼🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for watching the video! 😊
Thanks for your video! Very informative!
Do you have to pay for chairs at the beaches? Do you need to reserve them?
For example Franks Place www.franksplacearuba.com/rentals/beach-chair-umbrella-rental-holiday-inn-location/
or Delphi Watersports www.delphiwatersports.com/rentals/beach-umbrella-and-beach-chairs-package/
Another option, if you’re staying long enough is to go and buy chairs at the store and leave or gift them when you’re leaving the island.
And if you’re staying at a airbnb check because often the owner may have some for their guests.
Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!

Thank you so much!
9:31 Where is this spot with the swing, please?
Hi thanks for watching! It’s at Mangel Halto Beach on the side of the road. Approximately here: maps.app.goo.gl/KQLbNiNqhbEFovBM6?g_st=ic
Thank you kindly, looking forward to using some of your tips when I travel there this year.
@@CurlyVeggie Great, so happy it could be of use. Enjoy your trip! If you remember when you return, please let us know how it went!
can you tel me where the waterslides are😉
The waterslides are at De Palm Island. We just made a video about it this week:

I’m traveling soon and I’m a bit concerned about driving in another country! How is it driving there?

Alot of roundabouts that's about it😂
@@Charitin Exactly yes, but otherwise the streets are in great condition!
do I need to have valid test to get ED card? not sure what is it about but I though covid testing been long gone from the traveling now, or did I get it all wrong ?
@@globetrottinggang thanks I was wondering what is it about lol but i couldnt find more info about it on their official website thanks anyway
No problem! 😊
I really don't know how to swim but wanted to soak in water.. where to go that's not dangerous or you can just dip and soak..thanks
Mangel Halto!!
How does the sim card work? No international chargers?
You replace your regular card for the travel sim (make sure to keep your regular card in a safe place)
No international charger needed. American outlets.
Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
Do
I need a jeep to get around the island ?
Hi! Thanks for watching. You don’t, unless you are going to drive in Arikok National Park. If not, it’s perfectly fine even with a small car.
@ great video. And thanks for your response. Will a ford explorer get me
To the Arikok national park?
Yes it should be good. In the park, there are specific roads designated exclusively for 4x4 vehicles, but the others are ok for smaller, regular vehicles. So you actually only need a 4WD to get to the Conchi Natural Pool. If your Ford Explorer isn’t equipped with that option, and you want to get to the Natural Pool, you can park and hike to the pool. I think it’s about a 3 mile hike. Hope this helps!
Hi what is aruba airport? Is it drivable from aruba airport?
Hi! Thx for watching! Aruba Airport is called Queen Beatrix International Airport and there are many rental car companies on site where you can drive off from.
❤❤❤
Thank you 😊

Thank you 🙏🏽🥰
Where you get your daily tours? Or rent a car?

Thanks for watching!
Why do you have to say tip your server? ALWAYS tip your server unless bad service of course.
NOT all countries tip. We’ve been to some countries where it is considered an insult to tip after a meal. So I added it: more information is better than less.

Obrigada e muito orgulhosa de ser uma novata. E tambem muito orgulhosa de aprender o portugues e saber distinguir as palavras bonitas das feias.
Thank you! This was super helpful 🎉
Thank you for watching! Happy you found it helpful! Enjoy your trip!
