You will need a bigger offset wheel because the mustangs don’t run much offset or if you want to keep the mustang wheels you will need to get some spacers In order to push the wheel out enough to clear the shock mount
i wouldnt do any bigger than 2" blocks on 18-20's, you can do spacers for the wheels but i don't trust them, I'd rather sit a little higher than risk my wheel coming off
Hi all I'm looking to lower my 2008 FG Ute but are unsure whether to use blocks or buy lowered leaf springs. There seems to be more issues with the blocks from what I have seen, also looking at putting on 18- or 19-inch wheels, would like to get it right first time and avoid hassles. Any tips/pointers ?

Thats because the offset is ridiculous aren't they like +40-45 or something
I’m going to run 3” with 19s, will try 12mm spacers and see how it goes
20" rims or 30mm spacers
Having the same problem with 2 and a half inch blocks

Better to buy a lowered leaf … safe and non issue but cost you around 500…. Don’t buy blocks!
Wish I seen this first. Just put 2" with stock wheels and same issue
Sorry to hear that
Word just done the exact same thing too hahaha
hey mate i had put 2" blocks in my ba just get bigger wheels
Calvin Taylor yes mate. Finally I fitted them with 2” blocks
what size wheels you got mate? i got 17s had to upgrade to 18s so it would clear bottom of shock
Calvin Taylor 19” mustang wheels
nice 💓 so they do fit alright as im looking at a set of 18's, if you did want to try your 3" blocks again try 20" rims
hey you didnt need spacers to fit these did you
U need spacers
You shouldn't use aluminum blocks either. Cast steel blocks are much safer
cast iron is prone to cracking. aluminum has a much higher tensile strength. you are fake news
