With a few tweaks this package can be insane. A slightly harder tire. Enough so they don't blow out a third into a fuel run. But Enough to keep the fall off as dramatic as it was. It was amazing seeing the drivers relearn what racecraft on short tracks really is.

Honestly, it was a little extreme, but they need more races like this in terms of tires actually wearing. For years now, tires are just too durable and it makes for most cars running the same speeds and limited passing. Every race would be better if they actially had tire wear. While there are still some aero and power issues, this is evidence that tire wear might be the biggest problem when it comes to passing. Hopefully they learn something from this and we see more races that go in this direction rather than the Watkins Glen snoozefest that was last season...

That was probably the best race I've ever seen. I don't think it was a shit show. There really wasn't a ton of yellows and even they yellows we had were mostly just single car spins. Nobody really got their car destroyed
