  • Starting out from Tahoma High School and Summit Park we walk around the campus and through the nearby neighborhood. To complete the loop we walk on the Cedar to Green River Trail back to Summit Park in Maple Valley Washington.
See you on the next walk!

WOWZER!! That’s a humongous complex!! But it seems RUBY knew exactly where to go!! I’d probably get lost there. She seemed slow to start, like maybe it was a little hot, but she picked up her pace quickly!! I doubt I could keep up with her walking, have to run!! Do you take water with you on walks? Or wait til you get back to the car to give her a drink? She looks like she’s in good trotting form, grrrreat shape!! Especially when you consider dog years to human years. The dogs on the field sure seemed like they wanted to play. Looks like a good place for dogs to run. Is this second sports field part of the high school or separate? I noticed you crossed a street but wondered if it’s part of the HS property. Thanks for sharing this interesting walk/route and of course, sharing PAWSOME RUBY with us!! Please give her some extra treats and an ear rub/scratch for us!! Your fans in AR, 🐾❤️

Yeah that's a huge, nice school campus, just like most places that we film a video at we've done this walk a few times so she knows the route and where to go. I agree, she is doing great for her age. I attribute it to some luck and the fact she does walks like this everyday and always has new places to explore and exercise. We do always have water in the car unless we are going on a hike then I'll bring water and a bowl in my backpack.
Those dogs wanted to play with Ruby but she doesn't like that young energy, if they came up to her she would sniff and say hi but then want to continue on and she has no interest in going up to them or chasing them though.
That field that the dogs were on at the end of the video was part of Summit Park I believe, and the sports fields at the beginning are part of the school. The school and the park are right next to each other it almost seems like they are part of the same property.
I gave Ruby some extra treats and ear rubs from you and she says thank you!
