You should really assume less and try more things, you can't do anything wrong, so have at it. Like try everything in your inventory on everything methodically. Also noise seems to attract the monster, so maybe leg it before they show up to avoid having to hide. Couple of ideas: Funguscide could go on the fungus door or the toilet bowl. Sprocket could go into the jukebox. Try the red glasses on the art in the dining room, the lost his mind letter and like everything else red.
@ikkuhyu4395 i primarily play video games to either 1) be challenged or 2) have a unique emotional experience. brute forcing puzzle solutions is a pretty vapid experience that does not enrich my life. my desire to win a game is predicated on whether the experience of playing the game feels worthwhile to me. this can change moment to moment, and if i hit a point where i don't think the experience is worthwhile anymore, then i'll stop. i get very little enjoyment from simply completing games. the journey is the thing that matters to me.
When you said "What am I supposed to do with fungicide?" I yelled "USE IT ON FUNGUS". Try clicking on the actual fungus itself rather than the door the fungus is on.

yo i got limited time on this earth; i can't be using "everything on everything". it sounds like you and i play video games for different reasons. :)
@@Zmaniac It literally takes less time :p

just to sate your curiosity: that does not work. the click target for the door covers both the door and the little fungus graphics. they are the same.
